@maman don't worry about that!! Just because I've no hot water doesn't mean other people can't have or talk about treats!! I was brought up dirt poor and compared to that I'm well off now so I'm happy enough!
Besides we're saving for the wedding as well as paying off debts and I begrudge buying oil now when the weather is warm ish.
About castor oil - I did the OCM for a while but found it seemed to clog up my skin. could be me doing it wrong though. Anyway I had a terrible time getting castor oil and was told by a chemist it was because it was a laxative etc. I managed to eventually get some online but I have about a third or so of a small bottle left - if anyone wants it PM me and I'll post it overNo point it sitting in my house when someone else could get the benefit

Morning Ladies and Lurkers!
LL I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad day- but to repeat what you said to me - you've had a lot going on and dealt with it so much better than I think I could have- so a teary day is to be expected now and then, hope a good nights sleep will make things look better x
Maman sounds like you had an off day too- looks like it's going round at the moment I too blame the weather! I'm really hopeing for some nice weather this weekend- forecast looks good so fingers crossed, some sunshine, good music and a few days with my favourite people is just what the doctor ordered!
Had some positive news yesterday- workwise we are nearing our year end and our team just managed to close a really big case which means we will be getting a full bonus:jit will be enough to do something really good with, haven't decided yet but it will go in the 'special things' account until we work out what we want to do with it- my manager (who is the one who pulled offf said big case) also mentioned that I would be getting a little extra bonus too though she couldn't tell me how much yet as it will depend on the final figures @ end August...I think she wanted to cheer me up she had kept asking if I was ok- then said she worried when I was "off" as it's so unusual for me hmm didn't realise anyone would worry!
So decided last night I was GOING TO CHEER UP cooked a chicken daube and just the smell takes me back to my childhood YUM whilst cooking I put on some old school Sega, Soca and Chuntey music and was bopping around the house- it's just not possible to listen to that music and be down and now I feel miles better:D plus I'm counting all the dancing as my exercise for the day win/win!
Did the OCM last night so skin is all soft and lovely- re the castor oil, I have seen it in Tesco but (and yes I know I say this for lots of things but it amazing what you can find there!) Asian shops also sell it- if you look where they have the hair oils they should have some- also a nice selection of other oils which can be used for OCM at the moment I use sweet almond oil, but I think I will try adding some jasmine oil next.
Also painted my nails and did a little hand massage- was too impatient though and smudged one nail so will have to re-do tonight:mad: has anyone tried one of those sprays to dry nails quickly? I'm forever smudging my nails!
Right ladies must go and grab some breakfast, hope you are all well

This is interesting reading...can i join you?
I've been reading up on the OCM and want to try that but haven't found any castor oil yet
Haven't put any perfume on today because I was expecting my delivery from Perfume Parlour to arrive but it hasn't.
Off out for a run at midday and have a pole class tonight so that will probably be my exercise for the week done then :T
Also thinking about taking Evening Primrose Oil. I am an absolute cow at certain times of the month
I really need to sort my nails out so any cheap n cheerful tips greatfully received!

I haven't come on for a long post just to say I am a much happier bunny today. The sun is shining, I've been to SW to be weighed and I lost 1.5lbs this week which brings my total to 3 stone!!:j

Congratulations maman! That is wonderful
I'm a bit of a grouch today, don't know why, probably hormones. And I'm sleeping like it's going out of fashion!
Everyone, apologies if this has been asked before, but what is the one thing that is guaranteed to make you smile when you're having a carp day? (Haha, carp) For me, it's listening to Bill Hicks. Cheer-me-up music - anything by Lady Gaga *sings* happy in the club with a bottle of red wine, stars in our eyes cos we're having a good time, eh-eh eh-eh, so happy I could die
It was a rush to work today, but I managed to moisture all over, squirt the perfume and put a bit of make-up on.
I wrote daily job lists yesterday, they include everything from squirting the perfume to cleaning out the chickens, lol. Now it's written down, I HAVE to do it. So if someone wants something, I can check my list and say 'nope, sorry, can't, I have to file my feet'Bulletproof0 -

Oooh yes pleaseHeres a little pick me up for you all
OK her videos are fiendishly wierd but her music makes me want to just dance :j Plus I'd like to think the song as a wee message for all of us
<dances off round the kitchen> :rotfl:
I can't get hold of castor oil anymore.......I think the reason why castor is needed is because of it's drying effects and you combine it with a carrier oil so just using a sub isn't going to have the same effect.
As for me Galaxy has now all gone. I read in a book by Geneen Roth about some foods being hummers and others being beckoners. Hummers are things you can imagine eating without even seeing them whereas beckoners are those that you see and call to you like a siren :rotfl: I always thought Galaxy was a hummer but I actually think it's a beckoner as I can't say no to it
LL - Hugs for you xxx must be so hard for you xx
maman - well done on your weightloss :TI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
