We are all no longer 'new' customers so will not be able to take up any further 'new' customer offers (that's if you want to after this chaos of course!)

AND since we have all registered with Ocado now, even if we turned silly for a day and thought about buying from them we have negated any right to new customer offers as we are "returning customers"
Well i have never ordered from them and never will now. Their delivery charges were out of the box any how."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -

I already sent them an email through their website and I think everyone should do it, even if they will ignore, it will just show them they can't get away with this scam. Even if I was succseful in this redemption, I wouldn't use this website and I think that all those who were succesful should do the same.0 -
I think comments are being removed from their facebook as well. I did as suggested and posted there and it seems to have "disapeared" with some other peoples posts.0

What is in them that would make them remove them? There are some quite critical ones there.0

This is really terrible. Any news from the MSE Team yet? :wall:0

I placed my order for delivery next week, can't work out if it will be honoured or not?
All seems a bit of a joke, frankly.

Likewise, I was around the 1200th or so. Quite happy to sit on my voucher for a few days as needed to do some serious price checking. Can't blame those who ordered - blame crowdity for a generic code and no cap on applications. Have replied to email with my assessment of their operation. Shame Ocado will bear the brunt with poor publicity.
Well done those who did order - at least some folks got something out of this fiasco. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

I wrote to Crowdity and that's the generic response I gotWe are so sorry about the Ocado situation, we can't apologise enough and are
absolutely devastated.
Ocado made the decision this morning to withdraw our offer, without our
knowledge.
It was Ocados decision to run this offer with us and it was their decision
to terminate it early due to such high demand from other avenues.
We would love to be able to rectify this situation and reinstate the offer
but unfortunately Ocado are unwilling. Again all we can say is profuse
apologies and this will never happen again, believe us!
Deepest apologise

I informed them that a complaint was made with the ASA for misleading advertising.0 -

Instead of the offer being just for the limited number who registered, it was used by hundreds (thousands?) of people they had not anticipated or financially planned for. Personally Im not suprised the companies involved have withdrawn the offer. It would have potentially cost them a fortune.
Oooh the troll is hungry, here you go:
