Great!! Just come on here and saw this. I was around the 550th person to register for the voucher, was waiting till tomorrow to do my order as having a new freezer delivered today as my freezer got broken during my house move last week - now i've lost out. Not happy.A home is not a home ..... without a dog0

Im so cross over this fiasco
I signed upto to crowdity & recieved the code. I had family visiting from new zealand so couldnt find the time to place my order but wasnt worried as i had a week to use it.
It seems really unfair they can withdraw it before the expiry date0 -
same here, left it until weekend to place an order
((( would have placed it straight away if I knew Crowdity/Ocado would mess up!
can Martin do anything?:money:0 -
I was in the first 2000 and have lost out, I would have used Ocado again as not happy with Tesco home delivery. Not really sure why it was run in the weekly MSE e-mail with a circulation of millions, without checking the basics with Crowdity or Ocado. When I signed up it was very clear than 2000 was the minimum and obvious there would be very high demand.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Anyone who is fed up with Crowdity, can click at the bottom of their email on UNSUBSCRIBE, and it will take you to a page when you click on UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ALL, and you will never hear from these clowns.0

Well said!!! I'm going to do that now!!! I think we should all be sending them emails to waste their time like they have done with us. I've been paid today and WAS going to place my order tonight until this happened!!!0 -

i really wouldn't blame this on 'greedy' people or those who abused the offer.
the blame is on ocado and crowdity. they should have realised the power that crowdity, MSE (especially its newsletter) and HUKD have by supplying unique codes. they ignored this, leaked the code on their own website a day before and, worst of all, provided thousands of people with a generic code that anyone could obtain and use; even by bypassing crowdity registration.
it was a shambolic promotion.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Instead of the offer being just for the limited number who registered, it was used by hundreds (thousands?) of people they had not anticipated or financially planned for. Personally Im not suprised the companies involved have withdrawn the offer. It would have potentially cost them a fortune.
The offer should have been designed to avoid this, it would have been simple, issuing different single use codes, and having more control so that there was not a leak of code(s).0 -

Very honourable of you freeoffers, but I am not ashamed. I haven't done anything against the t&c's. I wouldn't say greedy either as the items I ordered I need and use. If companies are too short minded to see through there offers and promos then I for one intend to take full advantage. :j0
