The poster was referring to the headache that Ocado will have to go through regarding this deal , not the consumer...

And if anyone uses a code they know they are not meant to use for a free item then they KNOW they run the risk of it being OOS and then it being possibly substituted or charged for it

If the free code ( for the chocs and souffles ) is no longer working it wasn't meant to be for first orders anyway - And everyone knew that as it came with the customers first order to be used on their next order

I'm not saying I agree with anyone being charged a higher price for a substitution , in fact its not on , but any problems the customer faces regarding the chocolates or souffles on their first order are we really meant to have sympathy for them when they were trying to pull a fast one / wangle a freebie they knew they weren't actually entitled to

I'm sure it WILL cause Ocado headaches when they realise a code which was only meant to be valid on a second shop was being used on a first shop - And 2 codes at that!!!

I#ve just sent an e-mail to them asking what they are doing? Clearly said expires the 30th, can they withdraw the code early?

I have same expired, funny cos I only just got the voucher and opened it.

WOW!!!!!!!!! That IS actually a shocker! ... BUT if they HAVE pulled the code early you know you have to thank people who took the **** with the offer , once again , multiple orders when its one per household and lets NOT mention the use of the 2 codes which no one was really meant to use on their first shop...

Be a bit more GRACIOUS if they do put it back on as in don't take the **** and spoil it for others - They didn't HAVE to offer us 20 pounds free off a shop and IF they read this forum they'd be having kittens! lol

Thing is both my daughters haven't had a chance to use the code yet and both are really struggling ... Its the typical scenario - Those who don't really NEED it have sh*t loads of stuff piled up in the garage and those who are struggling MISS OUT! :(:(

This is not necessarily true. I don't have loads of stuff in my garage, I don't even have a garage! I've used the code once. They may have stopped this because they have had enough people who have taken up this offer already.

If they've pulled the code do you think they will honour existing orders or cancel them all???

My sisters shopping is due tomorrow and she has no food in the house so is RELYING on this!!

I'll be GUTTED if she doesn't get it as like many people is relying on this offer to cut our food shopping bills this week as it really does help!
