BMW X1 £5000 down and nothing more to pay (the government pays the £221 per month x 36 months) - Motability
    BMW X1 £3312 down and £552 per month x 36 months - Non Motability

    Cost to the individual

    Motability £5000
    Non Motability £23,184

Is it any wonder why there is abuse?

The sooner that they bring back the 'invalid car' the better. Then they have only two choices that one or none at all!!

you appear to have conveniently missed out the fact that after 3 years the motability car is returned to the dealer and the motability user does not get back the £5000 paid down or the £221x36 months, the £221 x 36 months is a payment that would otherwise be paid to the recipient as a benefit for motability , it is far from being a free car or even a perk, more daily fail sheeple fodder im afraid, unlike the buyer who would get to keep the car and have something to show for the money

We are not 'legally' married. We never had the money for that. She is my common law wife.

    Ah, ok then :D:D

    Choices?
You have no idea how my life has panned out over the years.
    I don't blame anybody - got that!!

What I do object to apart from the misuse of Motability, is that the system is not geared for people like us who can't prove by way of ID, who they are. Consequently they get no finacial help from the state.

Do you think that that is right?

How is that my fault? I didn't compile the law!

Likewise, you don't know how anyone else's life has turned out and yet you are quick to give them the 'scrounger' label.

You have said on more than one occassion that you blame the system for your choices.

No, I don't think it is right to be denied financial help when you need it.

I really have to go, but answer this, if you have been working for years, paying tax and NI - enough to claim your pension, how did you do that without ID?

How did you manage to register with a GP and get treated in hospital, without any ID? [This was before your prison spells, btw]

How did your wife manage to get medical help for the births of your children.

How did you manage to register your children at school?

If you managed to get ID after your spells in prison, why couldn't you have got that ID before turning to a life of crime?

As I said in my very first post on this thread, I think there is much confusion coming from your posts as you seem to forget what you have posted half the time and then contradict yourself.

Thank you though, for keeping me amused for a while :)
