Counting something you got for free when you wouldn't have bought it otherwise is definately cheating a bit
I don't mind what people want to add but just hope they are not cheating themselves out of working that little bit extra hard to "make" something
That "savings on shopping" bit hasn't been on the challenge long Aesop - I'm sure it wasn't on there when I was running it. Although I suppose it could mean different things to different people
no, it hasn't JesaRose. I think it only got added a few months ago.
I think the thing here is that some people like to add money saved on shopping, if as I said, they take that money saved and pay off bills/debts put into a savings account, it could be counted as "making" money.
I think that we all need to remember the whole point of the challenge is to make extra money, above what we normally have (very little) in my case, and use that to save/pay debts/pay bills, etc.
Well done on your ebay listings. As usual I did not get as much listed as I would have liked, but we have set up a local buy/sell on Facebook, so hoping to shift some stuff there.0 -

Evening all,
I posted 2 ebay items off today so can add those to my total. That's £8.18 today.
I've packaged 3 more items tonight so will take them to the post office tomorrow. The new 3 are worth much more so should have a nice chunk to add tomorrow.0 -

The postie tried to rob me of about 80p today - went to post a DVD from an ebay sale, which is usually £1.09 in postage, but the guy tried to charge me about £1.90. Only when I queried it did the guy try putting my envelope through the large-letter slot. Grrrrrrr...0

Hi all
Sold a few DVDs on Ebay last night, about £30 after fees and postage as I never watch them thats a good deal
Also just palmed off the dreaded breadmaker at work for £30, asked for £40 but only one person came forward for it so struck a deal. As it hasn't moved from off the cupboard in the last year I don't think it will be missed.
Just checked my online banking. £50 cheque has been credited in at £500. Waiting merrily for that to clear but i BET they notice itI have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!
Debt at LBM (2011) £7750. DFD 01/01/20130 -
