Hi peeps! Sounds like lots of us were busy putting thngs on ebay over the weekend. Have got a few pricier bits this time which i am hoping will sell - so will find out about those next Sunday night.
Received £42-50 from Qu1dco today, and £3-92 on its way from cr0wd0l0gy. After a slllloooooow start, things seem to be picking up a bit on the money making front :T2023 Weekly Cash Envelope Savings Challenge #04

Made 99p from ebay and £6.80 on an Amazon sell. Still having issues with Amazon. Someone has ordered a book but hasn't validated their payments, every day for the past 2 weeks I've had the "do not dispatch this order" email which says to carry on reserving the item until the customer pays; but then it also says that Amazon will cancel the order and let the next customer buy the book after 7 days. I don't know whether to hang on and wait for the original buyer to sort their issues or to cancel the order and let someone else buy it.Paying off the overdraft:
End of April= -£500
Today= -£4550 -
Are 99p items still a free listing then? I may put some more on. I only managed 18 listings yesterday. Although I did list 4 pairs of shoes I have had for years & they have watchers & 1 pair already has a bid. woo! Saved £12 on entry to an exhibition yesterday with our free art fund cards so will update total. :jDFXmas ..........0/9734.68

Nothing to add today but I do have an ebay item to post tomorrow so I'll update my total then. It'll probably only be a pound or two.
Saved money last night by going out for dinner! Yes, you did read that right. My store won £200 for a staff night out so we went to F&Bs and spent £171 between 4 of us. It was the best feed I've had in a long time!
I'm not doing too well on my total this month but just being on here is helping me not spend so much. I'm more conscious about what I spend and leave my purse at home when I go to work so I can't be tempted to buy my lunch instead of just eating what I take.
So, can I just say thanks for helping me on my path to pay off my overdraft. Thank you!0 -
Hmm...think we need a 'Save £10 a day' thread to run alongside this 'MAKE £10 a day' thread...:D
Agree:rotfl:ah but some people actually take the money they have saved by using vouchers and use this to pay of their bills/debts/transfer to a savings account.
But thats just MSE good sense isn't it? I put some of my wages into a savings account each money but thats different from making money and I wouldn't add it
Counting something you got for free when you wouldn't have bought it otherwise is definately cheating a bit
I don't mind what people want to add but just hope they are not cheating themselves out of working that little bit extra hard to "make" something
That "savings on shopping" bit hasn't been on the challenge long Aesop - I'm sure it wasn't on there when I was running it. Although I suppose it could mean different things to different people
My own personal achievement is going out of my normal way to find some more money from somewhere - but if it works differently for others then each to their own :beer:
I sold a couple of Amazon items and posted today = £15.34
Also made lots of new eBay listings over the weekend so pleased with myself as I hate doing themNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
