From 1st post, although this has evolved over the 45 months

If you're new to the challenge don't be scared - here's how it works:

The aim of this challenge is to make £10 extra a day everyday for the month. A lot of people think this is impossible but it can and has been done (and in some cases some show offs have even doubled or tripled the monthly challenge).

If you feel £10 is too much why not start at £5 or if you're brave join those who aim for £20 a day! Anything extra you make is great so set whatever target you think you can manage.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money or saving money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

What cannot be added: wages from your main job
What can be added: overtime at work, income from a 2nd job, savings in shopping, daily clicks, sales, interest, vouchers, mystery shopping...the list is endless.

Feel free to add any extra money earned (above normal wages) or any money you saved when out shopping. For daily clicks and sites like quidco it's upto you when you add the money earnt there. Some add it when an amount tracks others when it's paid out - it's your challenge so it is upto you what you want to count and when you want to count it.

    Hi All
Popped to mother's yesterday, got a free takeaway (not counting this one) but also had a letter from Halifax after a wrote a complaint. Not normally one to bother, but they caused a lot of hassle over a last standing order. SO money turned up where it should be a week later, but had a £50 cheque from them as compensation. Lovely :) Gonna cash it and store it in case of emergency this month, if not needed will pay off a bit more of the dreaded CC on payday.

Have to share, gorgeous OH who is working in USA at the moment is taking me away for a weekend in August, his treat, free holiday for me :)

Well done to everyone, you're all doing really well!
I have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!

Have 8 items on ebay, and a bid on one :) am pleased, as this is re-list from last free listing.

Hope can shift other stuff too.

DH took photos of stuff, but only some, he said I didn't ask for other stuff to be photographed , yes I did! he didn't iron any of it, and we used a friends' digital camera, that I cannot get the software to download!

so was ironing stuff yesterday and rephotographing with phone. let's just say he was not happy!

It's been a while since I posted, so I have a few things to add....

    £14.85 paid for mystery shopping
£23.03 refunded for an ebay item that was never received.
    £36.76 paid out from Quidco
    £5.10 lottery win

My total is starting to look good for the month. Still behind, but I have a few items to post out for ebay sales so I have a nice total to add when that's done.

Just won £500 at land bingo yeeeehaaaaa!! I share with my mum so adding £240 to my total !! I gave £200 to hubby to put away for the MOT for our oldest car so hopefully that will pay for that or a good bit too it. The deal is that if it doesn't cost as much as that I get the change.
Put £40 in my xmas savings jar . The other £10 has gone in my purse for a little treat for myself

    £340

Ooooh, welldone AlyBaly on the Bingo win! :D

Hope everyone has been busy taking advantage of the Free Listing weekend. I've been so busy this weekend that I only had a chance to get started at about 8:30pm, so have relisted everything unsold, and have got quite a lot more listed vaguely, i.e. categories, titles and prices. The rest is to be edited tomorrow. And probably will spill over to Tuesday too, but at least the listings are on!! `
Didn't have any interest from either of the things I tried in the Friday Ad yet, so if by the middle of the week I still haven't, I'll renew the add but at a lower price.
Obviously want to make lots of money, but at the same time, I do really just want to clear volume of stuff out of my home! But this priority of space or money seems to yo-yo back and forward in my mind almost weekly!! :D
