Not too bad, as it means I'm over the halfway figure at Midway in the month!

Needed new work trousers so got them from Burton where they have buy one get one half price. Noticed at the till they had an offer for "buy a £30 gift card and get a £5 off voucher for yourself". Woman at the till let me buy the gift card, get the voucher and then use the voucher and the gift card for my trousers. So I got a bonus £5 on top of the £12.50 for the offer!! :) Happy with that one!

So I'm adding that to my sig now.

Need a ruling on the following.

Girlfriend bought my Tesco shopping. We stay at mine most of the time so she just likes to pay her way every so often. I was expecting to pay.
How do I count it? Normally I would have racked up £12.15 in savings. Shopping cost £46.35.

I'm adding the £46.35 right but do I get to also include the £12.15 which I would have normally got.
Talking myself out of it. Sounds stupid. £46.35 it is.
    Unless people think otherwise?
Or do I even get to count it?

Not entirely sure how much extra I made today. We had to start work at a stupid time in the morning so we should get unsociable hours pay added on but no one knows quite how much that'll be.
Bought some things in Next sale to put away for birthdays/xmas so I'm hoping that'll help me save money later on :)
    Paying off the overdraft:
    End of April= -£500
    Today= -£455

£24 saved in The Body Shop today by using the spend £20 save £12 voucher plus the 2 body butters for £15 offer
£5.35 saved in Boots using vouchers
£18 saved in Tesco using vouchers (got Harry Potter xbox game for £21.90 instead of £39.90!)
Are these things that you would have bought anyway, if you hadn't had the vouchers?

ah but some people actually take the money they have saved by using vouchers and use this to pay of their bills/debts/transfer to a savings account.

Oh yes, even I count money off vouchers as its effectivly 'free' money but I dont count offers, ie; BOGOFS. I feel like im cheating if I do that! :D

This is the first month I've done this challenge and I've been counting BOGOFs and price reductions etc. but it does seem like cheating as I would have bought that stuff anyway because it works out cheap...

I'll probably miss my target this month even doing that but I set an ambitious one that I'll lower drastically next month and think I'll probably not count things like BOGOFs.

Just took my brother and his mates into town instead of them taking a taxi. After petrol I'm adding £16 to my total :)

Expecting a call in 3ish hours to do the return to for another £26 on the total!! that'll be a good little hit
