My standard DVDs and CDs go for 92p as well. Thats the price of a second class large letter at the standard weight on one of those. If its more than 250mm it will have to be a packet though and also for more weight so a small box set will be more expensive.

Have you used the online postage calculator from Royal Mail? This is it: http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/PriceFinder;jsessionid=4HNDWJKUWMESOFB2IGGUOSQ;jsessionid=4HNDWJKUWMESOFB2IGGUOSQ?catId=23500532&gear=pricingcalc

Also couriers are much cheaper for parcels over 2kg - we use this site at work and have never had any problems. I run web shops so have used it a lot:

    I send everything 2nd class.
The postage method is stated in the listing and people can chose to buy things from me or not. Nobody who has given me feedback has complained..yet.

I'm only a casual ebayer so I'm not too fussed whether things sell or not but I do take care to communicate and post ASAP which to me is more important.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

    Hey.

Posted off my last few ebay items today so that's £30.81 to add from there.

Also popped into the shops for some bits and used £1.50 of coupons I picked up last week.

    Not a bad day :)

I made some money from amazon & just got 6.99 back from cancelling a direct debit. So that's another £30 to add. Going to doi my first mystery shop soon. So fingers crossed! I was accepted for the shhhh secret panel, but no first survey yet. Is that normal?? I visited a pawn shop yesterday. OOh they're mean. I have decided to try ebay instead ;)

£3-50 to add from a games offer! Constantly checking the ebay situation and have had bids on 3 items and have lots of watchers on a couple of the pricier items - they don't end til Sunday so fingers crossed we make some good money there.

Not wanting to complicate postage but you could offer both 1st & 2nd class options and let the buyer chose :)

I personally send everything over £10 1st recorded, and anything under £10 goes standard 1st class. I send recorded because i had a run of items not recieved claims, which i dont believe were true claims

Mostly Items arrive with the buyers the day after posting, and feedback normally has compliments on super fast delivery.

Buyers wont normally complain about postage unless you overcharge, or they pay for a service and you dont provide that service, e.g, send standard parcel instead of 1st class.

Plus just got my pay slip so £192.06 from last months on call after deductions
