I know it wasn't intended that way, but Jesus, thats a depressing thought :( 54p for 10 mins of work sounds so wrong, doesn't it!?
alas so true for many of us! :o although thinking along those lines certainly makes you stop and think before buying unnecessary carp....paper, choc bar , coffee ect!

Actually just ignore me MissKT as my maths is worse than I thought it was ~ it's actually 6 minutes I would have to work rather than 10 to earn 54p net! :o

My last post actually puts me over £10 a day so

But,.. as this is my first go at the challenge I targeted £20 a day which I doubt I'll make but will keep trying. Not going to be too demoralised if I don't make it just take a more realistic approach next month.

I did sell that flaming car this month though so my bank balance is definitely looking nicer!! :D Thanks for the impetus guys

I thought your maths must be wrong, otherwise you would be working for less than the minimum wage.

With regards to postage on Ebay, I send everything Second Class, and as this is stated in my listing people are happy with it. I do have a little note at the bottom that says if they would rather have it sent First Class please contact me and I can work out the cost for them. I've had people do this a few times, such as when they want something for a present that they have left till the last minute or something.
Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £170
  • £10.05 to add from Quidco, and £1 found in a supermarket trolley on the weekend.

I am also adding 25p in interest from the account I have set up to stash my "£5/10 per day" cash. I don't count interest from other accounts, but since this is interest on the challenge cash, I'm counting it! :)

That takes me to £180.67 for the month. Need to get my butt in gear if I am going to make my target this month.

I have been super-unmotivated lately, one of my kitties is poorly and I've been worried about her and ferrying her and another kitty back & forth to the vets. Not going to be a good month for credit card bills. :(
R.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was.
