I'm one of the lucky ones, who hasn't had a problem with updating logging in details.
As I understand it, you will only be sent a temporary pin if you log in on a different computer to the one you registered on.
I've logged in and transferred funds a couple of times now and everything went well for me.
If and when use a different computer? Will have to see.
I'm using my usual computer.
And still can't get access.
Finally received a new PIN in the post and tried logging on. Tried as an existing customer. Tried registering from scratch . tried every method. Just get told I'm "not recognised".
No instructions about how to log in with new PIN, or why new PIN needed.
Rang Tesco at 9 pm and was told by a young lass some one would call back, but not today..... they can't even deal with a call in an hour!? Insisted on a manager, who said I'd need IT support and she promised to stay on the line till they answered. Next thing I know, I'm on the answerphone again and..... back to the young lass for the 2nd time!! Aaarrrgh!0 -
Does anyone know if it's possible to fully access the Tesco Internet Saver account using an Andriod tablet or phone?0

New pin needed so can access to your account I ask them why can't they send me pin number to my email address rather than the post they said need a computer to do this I thought be quicker and save their money on postage!!.0 -
Viola! With new pin, I now have access to my Savings a/c.
Next question - how do I set up other computers on my account?0 -
Still can't access any tesco accounts. DH rang over a week ago. They promised a call back after 5pm. Called last friday at 4.50pm and left a message on the answer phone saying they would call back later. No call back so DH rang tuesday evening, they wanted a/c number for our clubcard plus account! As we only use that account for shopping i check the statement monthy and shred as it is all online. So can't access my account online to find out account number. The tell DH they will call him back after 5pm Wednesday so ring at 8.40 am yesterday morning while he is at work! Suppose to call back last night, but nothing. The account is a joint one but I=we only use DH log in details. May have to devolpe a very husky mail voice if they ring today! Has anyone had any offer of goodwill compensation from them!!0

Yes mine has been credited to my Tesco Internet saver account, others have received theirs too.
More on this thread here: Will Tesco renege on their compensation promises?Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -

Login from your main computer and ensure Tesco has your correct mobile phone number. Then log out.
Next login from your other PC, using your new security details. It will say "this is not your usual PC" and send you a text with a one-time password. Use this to log in and watch for a question which asks if you want to make this computer one of your usuals. Good luck. I've been doing this every time I log in from the same PC.0 -

(See my post #491 on page 25 of this thread).
I'm not knowingly doing either of those things. Yesterday I tried the advice given somewhere up this thread or another, which was to go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html and increase the storage allowance to 1MB. That may have done the trick. I have just logged in to Tesco Online Banking and for the first time it has recognised my PC :j
If it's still working for my next 3 accesses I'll consider it fixed.
I'm still a little puzzled as to how this fix works. Firstly, I thought Flash was now configured from the Control Panel rather than the URL quoted above. Secondly, a similar URL ending manager07.html indicated that Tesco was using 3.5K out of 100K available before the fix, and is still only using 3.5K of the 1MB I've allocated.
Edit: I think the fix was first posted by flogging_molly at #444 on page 23. Link follows.
