I can't wait to have my dad over as he never comes over and we can have an evening doing something we both enjoy, watching the boxing and having a nice tea and a few drinks! I am going to drive him home on Sunday and he said he will take me and DD out for lunch so that is nice! If we have a proper Sunday lunch we probably won't want much for tea so should be a cheap day!
Saturday I was planning on driving to town and getting the bus to and from the train station to meet him plus paying for parking. Now I have my MSE head on I am planning on having him come to the station down the road as won't be any difference in his train fare, I wait outside for free and then either drive to the Cribs Causeway for a mooch (with free parking!) or come straight home!
Car MOT was done today and I am £242.18 down! Ho hum! Service hasn't been done in several years (bad I know) so have booked it in for Thursday to get it out of the way. That will be another £200 so money is gonna be very very tight for the rest of the month but don't really have anything planned and may be a chance of a bit of overtime (happens 4 times a year) one of the weekends so that would help moneywise. Hoping won't get billed too much interest charges for those cards I have been paying and are about to transfer but you never know...at least will save on the monthly payment for the 2 cards I paid off with the loan so that money can go towards the service. Need to start budgeting towards things like this really

Just transferred the remainder of the HSBC card to the 0% Virgin card as it appears that the balances have been wiped clean today. Will be nice just having one card and the loan payment to pay for so less confusing and less interest too
