But found out last night that mine and Emily's Kickboxing grading is 7th August and we both need new Kickboxing licences first
That will be £40 for the year for both of us...so need to try very hard this month to budget well. I suppose the payments this month will be all over the shop due to making payments to wipe the cards etc so might be lucky! xxx

Hi Donna! I've been quietly reading your thread. Well done on getting the loan! I wish i could put everything together. I confuse myself sometimes with all the seperate payments i have to make!!One step at a time0 -
Hiya Hopeful
I am hoping that this loan and then card transfer to 0% for a year will make everything a lot more straightforward bill wise and be better for my interest wise too :T xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Well paid off the two Virgin cards which totaled £5158.29 eeek!
Was left with £2841.71 of which I paid £2800 off of the HSBC massive £8K limit card which HSBC wrote to me today to say they were upping to £9k lol!!!
Left the £41.71 to use for the two kickboxing licences for me and DD and will pay that back a little later on in the month when I have sorted out the monies and got the cash for the few bits I have been selling/Quidco etc
So that should leave me with £5200 on the main card along with the £8k loan. I suppose the two Virgin cards may send me through a statement with a small amount of interest on as is always the way when you think you have cleared a card!
Emily is off School tomorrow due to the Teacher Strike and as I was busy tonight fiddling about with my car which I am worried may fail the MOT for something really minor (blocked up passenger window washer which I am soaking in scaleaway as I type), we missed Kickboxing so am giving that money to Emily as she hopes to visit the zoo tomorrow. I have got her food to take so she won't have to pay the extortionate prices too!
MOT is Friday and if it fails only have a week to sort it. Can buy a replacement one from ebay but buyer is in Hong Kong so won't get here in timeBrother says we can try the 3 scrappys at the weekend if I am struggling...oh and the loo seems to be leaking through the blimin' ceiling so more cack to be dealing with...grrrrr! xxx

Well kinda bodged the car good and proper so reckon it may be ok until I get replacement jez nozzles! And the ceiling has stopped leaking but do need to get that sorted really!
Just got back from Asda as needed to pick up some bits for the weekend and hope to spend tomorrow night trying to cut the grass. Feel very guilty as brought some nice food and beer and snacks for my dad as he only stays once in a blue moon so never get to spoil him really. Saying that, I haven't really been food shopping this week and me and Emily have just been eating whatever we have in the house so kinda helps even it out a little bit.
Just have to promise myself that I will be careful with the money for the rest of the month foodwise.
Well loan DD date has come through, 24th of the month...what a rubbish day for a DD! Ho hum need to make sure then that I have the money in there, literally days before payday on the 27th! Oh well sooner it starts being paid sooner it ends! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
That is a rubbish date for a DD!! Can you call them and try to change it?
Emz xx0 -
Ho hum what a rubbish date for a dd to go out on. For me that would be the day before payday, each month and that would suck! Surely the date can be changed if you ring them?0
-
I 3rd all suggestions to ring and ask for the date to be changed. The 24th is pants!! It's neither here nor there lol
Every now and then I have a food shop 'splurge'. It's so tiring being constantly aware of every penny and what better reason than to spoil your dad. I hope you have a lovely time with himOne step at a time0 -
Methinks I will try calling them and seeing if they can change it then...I have googled it and everyone seems to think they will stand their ground as they point blank refuse to change the dates but is worth a shot!
