I would have spent more than that on a curry takeaway...jeez! Mental! xxx

All the signs of a debt free wannabe. I'm the same. It's not mental, but i do find it boring and frustrating lol Cannot wait for the day i can shop again without adding everything up in my head as i walk round :o

Ay up everyone! Had a mental last couple of days so haven't had chance for an update!

Had the works night out on Friday and the ex was there...it was one of the most horrible nights I have ever had. He was being soooo and in your face and laughing etc all I could hear was him. Even peeps who I have known for longer just sat next to him and didn't even say hello to me when they arrived and when I left (as it just got too much and I started crying outside) one of them cam out and said they all wanted to talk to me too at some point but just never got round to it...but seeing as they had several hours I ain't really buying that!

Needless to say I won't be doing that again in a hurry. Started to get a few horrible mails from him too about why are people blanking him at work and how I should be considering him and his feelings after what I have done...but I am just not talking to him so can't see what he is talking about?!?! Am not getting into an email slanging match so am just ignoring them all.

After that ordeal and then dreaming about him too I woke up and was determined to have a better Saturday which I have had! I went to see the family and dad took me out for lunch and then caught up with an old friend for dinner before coming home. Dad paid for lunch and friend paid for dinner so a very cheap day for me...

So over the Friday and Saturday days out I only spent £2 on parking and £3.30 on 2 cokes! Result!

Just got back from a 8 mile run...but felt like more of a jog! Awful time minute mile wise but at least I finished! Gonna hop in the shower and do a meal plan before hitting Asda! :) Happy days!

Grrrrr to your idiot ex:mad: Shame you have to see him about really isn't it...much easier if he'd just disappear;) Urgh, exes...who'd have them??!:rotfl:

Glad to hear your Em doing fine...doesn't seem 5minutes since she started secondary does it?! That's my eldest the same age - mad they're going into GCSE years now...I feel old;)

Hello PixieChick :D I know, can't believe the whole age thing either, ready for GCSEs already! Your Em must be at Secondary School now isn't she? And hope G is doing well too! How is she finding the whole thought of GCSEs etc? Emily just wants out and wants sooo badly to be at College already!

Amen to the Exes...soooo annoying! I am starting to get my head around things now thank goodness. Still hurts like hell but getting an incy wincy bit easier as the days progress xxx

Well I have a confession to make! I had a rather pants day today but during all the pantsness, I have decided that enough is enough, draw a line in the sand and to stop torturing myself with everything and attempt to move forward. After this I decided to go and buy me and Ems something nice for tea and to have a dessert etc and spent a bit of money on food when really we should have had whatever was at home. Reckon the lot came to about a tenner or so but feel sooooo dam guilty, especially after the food bill was so high this week. Thinking about it I need to give myself a break there too as used to spend more than that on a takeout all the time and at least I am not doing that anymore. Just hate feeling like this.

I am also toying with the idea of getting a new bed frame. Basically the one I have now doesn't fit the mattress. IKEA bed frame, normal mattress. I have found one online at Sainsburys, which is at £47.60 which it reckons has 80% off as should have been £238 (no way I reckon!) and I have a £10 off voucher for a spend over £50 which it should be with postage. Lovely frame but keeps on going out of stock fast. I will ask them to email me again when in stock and see what gives. I plan to get a bed for the spare room anyway, so could whack the old frame in there for now and use it in the future. The old one is too big for my room really and this new one would be great but again, feel guilty for wanting to buy anything! :( xxx

Yep, my Em just finished Y7, that's scary:o I really hate them getting older, just want them to stop! G is doing just fine at school - looking forward to just doing subjects that she's chosen in Sept...no drama, music, geography etc:) Honestly, time is just flying.
Just enjoying some peace without them around...wanting to eat all the time and making a mess:D Ah no, I say that but will be glad when they're home later!

Meant to say - the bed frame sounds like a right bargain. It's hardly something you won't use or appreciate so you shouldn't feel bad about buying one. I know how you feel though, I got a bit obsessed with not spending but I think you have to relax just a little. I remember walking home from school a couple of years ago and Em wanted some sweets...I said no and that I didn't have my purse, she was really disappointed so my friend bought her and her own daughter something. I felt awful as I did have my purse, i just hadn't wanted to ruin an NSD:rotfl: I did buy them both something a few days later to make it up to my friend;)

And you and Em deserved a little treat - really, £10 isn't much is it, so don't beat yourself up over it - you have to enjoy your life right now with a few little treats. As long as you don't go mad it's all fine:D
