just before lunch I asked him what time he wanted to have his lunch and he replied 'I reckon I will go at 12, have a 2 hour lunch break and then go home' and that was exactly what he did because he vanished and never came back! Told me my work was boring etc...such a miserable begger he really was!

How rude!!! lol I'd love to be able to get away with that in my job

Thought August would be a cheap month...then remembered School Uniform and School Shoes etc....aaaaarrrrrrgggggh! xxx

What have i told you about thinking??:p

I would report the bloke who did that at your work, otherwise it might reflect badly on you, if he can't do the job.

Don't forget about asking the school about 2nd hand uniform, for branded stuff. Also to buy the shoes at the end of the holiday and not do what i did once, which was get a bargain pair at the beginning of the holidays which DS then grew out of (having not worn them) before school started.....

I reported him to my manager and then I was asked for a list of all his negative comments etc and it was escalated to senior management later that day!

Will do about the uniform :) And what a mare about DS growing out of the shoes :( Hope you managed to take them back or ebay them or something :( Saying that the silly ebay fees they seem to be charging these days are crazy! xxx

Well I am now down to £3.05 after buying the food shopping, taking the kids for tea and getting Emily's School Jumper which is the only item of Uniform I intend to pay full price for! I wanted to get it at the start of the hols (and got quite a large size so it should be ok) as last year I had an absolute mare getting hold of one as they only sell them in one shop in the whole of Bristol!

Tried to keep the food bill down and remembered that the kids are off now from School so everything food wise may be a little skewy!

I decided for the first time ever to wear a dress instead of jeans! I brought it from ebay a while ago, lovely maxi dress but it makes me look like I am pregnant as has a tight band under the bust area...I thought it and then Emily confirmed it when she saw me! So something else to go on ebay!

I have decided to start trying to take better care of myself really. And to try and stop wearing the same old cack and wear things that are a bit more flattering. I have weighed myself this morning so am going to try and loose some weight for my half marathon in 7 weeks. I am gonna find it hard enough completing the race with the fact I haven't run properly in months so shifting a few pounds will help loads as less impact on the joints. Plus I have lots more clothes that may fit me better then! I am hoping that the kickboxing will help me fitness wise and may help a little with the fact I haven't ran in ages. Hope so anyway!

After weighing myself this morning and weighing in a 11 stone 8 3/4lb I have become more and more focused to not only become debt free but look after myself properly once and for all! So far today I have managed to drink 1.5 litres of water which is unheard of for me! Plus I actually weighed out my pasta for tea and rather than what I would normally do which is pile on the home made sauce I made to go with it, I split it in half and mixed it in with the pasta and will use the rest tomorrow. Being more interested in portion control (which is my biggest issue really as boy can I eat!) will help keep the food bill down too as now that can spread across 2 meals as opposed to the 1 it would have done and then if I left any it would have gone in the bin as would not have been enough to make a meal from.

Go you! You're sounding very motivated. I need to follow suit. My trousers have become horribly uncomfortable over the last few weeks. I just keep picking at chocs, sweets etc Have managed to control myself a little better these last 2 days.

I'm in the same situation as you with clothes. Everything is really old. I have a few items i constantly wear. I've just been looking on boohoo.com They have 75% off and another 10% deducted at the checkout until midnight tomorrow night. If i do ok at the car boot i'm gonna treat myself to my 1st ever maxi dress (some are only £8). There's also some short dresses that would be nice with leggings. Their prices are usually pretty good anyway, so worth a look when you have a little cash.

Oh and i resisted a 2nd portion of pasta tonight too! I think we were seperated at birth :rotfl:

Yep feeling very motivated! I think it is partly due to becoming single for the first time and now I have time to focus on myself which I haven't had before and the fact that I was start looking like one hot mama and not a frumpy bag lady!

85% off jeez! That's an awesome sounding sale! I haven't ever seen that website, have heard of it but reckon I will deffo check it out now to see what kinda stuff they have! :D

I lol-d at the seperated at birth comment! Big yay to us resisting the pasta! It was tough going as felt like I was only having half of my dinner but I know I need to train my brain into realising that actually that is the correct portion size! xxx

My situation's a little complicated, but i'm nearly in same situation as you and the sooner it happens the better. I can't wait to have the headspace to think about myself (inbetween thinking about the children of course!). We can look forward to strutting our stuff as hot mamas eating half size portions of pasta lol :D
