Anyhooooos, have amended my signature due to 1st loan payment being paid so rather than actually amend it to show the amount I have paid, I simply divided the 8000 into 48 payments so worked out to be £166.66 so the excess I am paying each month is interest so won't bother mentioning that!

After checking the bank I have realised I have an extra £1.23 to my name....woooooo! Made me laugh!

So now I have £4.29 in my purse as Emily gave me her left over penny to go with the £3.05 I already had! I feel like a millionaire! :D and have nowt to spend it on! Maybe I will pay it towards the Virgin card as an extra payment as that will annoy them lol!

Went for that run on Sunday and managed the full 7 miles. It was tough going but got there in the end. I then managed to sort the front garden and started the back which is a billion times worse and got a tiny way through then ended up with a massive migraine and gave up to come inside and chill watching a movie with Ems...saying that she spent most of the time on Facebook chat so kept on missing the crucial points!

I keep on checking my Virgin card as want to know what the minimum payment will be.

I think I keep on wishing my life away wanting this debt to be paid asap but know that this is wrong but probably normal!

My situation's a little complicated, but i'm nearly in same situation as you and the sooner it happens the better. I can't wait to have the headspace to think about myself (inbetween thinking about the children of course!). We can look forward to strutting our stuff as hot mamas eating half size portions of pasta lol :D

Hope everything is ok Hopeful1 :) relationships etc are such hard work and then when you are not in one other things are hard work! Life is just one lot of hard work!

Was good yesterday food wise and was finding it very hard not to scoff my face whilst watching the movie with Ems but think that is due to habit and not me actually being hungry! I actually left some of my dinner which is usually unheard of for me! Have to remember what is more important...eating chocolate or being slimmer and not having to buy new clothes!

I am planning a visit to see the folks at the weekend and my dad wants to take me out for lunch so will try and have the healthiest option I can as very easy just to eat cack especially when I am not paying!

Well just had a laugh...and my ex has confirmed to me what a complete and utter toolbag he is!

Basically he has been on holiday for a while and it has made me realise that I cannot be friends with him after the pain he has caused me so have removed him on Facebook etc and have decided that it would be best for my mental well being if we didn't try and act like nowt has happened and that we are really good mates...plus the fact that actually, I don't want to be anymore...So I sent him an email explaining this in a very dignified and polite way just saying that it is too raw pain wise and and the moment it just cannot be done and please could he leave my front door key in my mail sling at work as he doesn't really still need access to my house.

I also said that I wouldn't be responding to any mails or texts etc and that we need to keep work separate and he replied with a short message saying that he does not appreciate mails of such a nature in his work email and that I am to only email his personal account if I ever want to talk to him. It was very few words but stern as hell and has just confirmed to me what a toolbag he actually is! xxx

There was no need for that was there? Definitely get that key back as there is no need for him to have access to your house. If I were you, I would just forward the email on to his personal address and simply add 'as requested' at the top.

No there certainly wasn't! I was trying my best to be polite and he then responds like that, as if the last 5 years have meant nothing! I very, very nearly replied saying 'Toolbag status...100% confirmed' but then that would have meant that I had read his mail when I had said that I was going to delete it :D xxx

lol life / relationships really are complicated aren't they?!!

His 'requests' are obviously just about him trying to take control as he's obviously put out by your suggestions. You are right though to 'make a break' from it all. Getting your key back should be a priority. Well done, for taking positive actions.

    You put a spanner in the (toolbag's) works.....*groan* - couldn't resist :rotfl:

They certainly are hard work! Funny you should say that Hopeful1 about him trying to take control as I was thinking the very same thing earlier. He mailed me asking when he can pick up the final bits and then started harping on about how he has spent all the time since we split 'taking everything I flung at him and I seriously needed to start thinking about how I was making him feel and the way I was treating him was totally unfair' and I thought to myself then that it is probably due to the fact that he feels he has no control anymore and doesn't like it. I don't get it myself, I have been very accommodating, lending him and giving him bits for his new home, letting him turn up when he wanted to get his stuff, constantly being nice whereas many women would have given him the finger!

All I have said to him is please can I have my key back as don't feel you need it any longer and that I am sorry but I cannot be his best friend as I need to try and move on and the best way to do this is through minimum contact as is hard enough seeing him everyday. I need to start putting myself first for the first time in the last 15 years...actually the first time in 31 years if I am honest! xxx

    Well Payday tomorrow...hooray!

I plan to get myself a small notebook and keep a spending diary for the month to track exactly where my money is going! I don't have much planned this month but do have a works do on Friday and an evening meal with an old friend on Saturday after I see my dad who is taking me out for lunch...but he always pays for that :D!

Won't be drinking on the Saturday evening so should only be having a cheap tea (hopefully) and a soft drink! Friday I may drive so that I can't drink and will be arriving after the guys have had food out o save more money as cheaper eating at home! I hope that my ex doesn't turn up making everything depressing! xxx

I do really need to get myself a new pair of trainers...I live in trainers usually and they are just about to get a hole in the sole! I have found some nice ones for £15 with £3.50 postage for which I am gonna see if I can find a code or something to try and save a few pence,,,mental how I feel guilty now about buying some whereas a few months back, I would have spent more than that on a curry takeaway...jeez! Mental! xxx
