Your coleslaw and dough balls looks lovely, I have never made garlic dough balls do you have a recipe?
I fancy trying these now! I guess a normal plain bread/pizza dough will work?0 -
Lemon choc dipped biscuits sound yum.
Had last if the Smoothie for breakfast, 2 mini bagels, leftover chipolata, half of a chicken breast given to me by grandma for lunch, dinner was some of the pasta cooked on Monday and picked on some soft apricots.
Not sure about lunch tomorrow, I have 2 bagels left and a bit of the chicken breast, so probably eat that.
Kirri it was a struggle trust me, but I'd bought a groupon deal, it was a new class and didn't want to waste it, so kind of had to go! Lol only managed a clementine after, was all I could manage.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Morning all.
Was busy on a course yesterday, which I'm also going to today, but today I'm a bit more organised so can have a fleeting visit lol. Lunch is provided on the course. I've no idea about tea after glancing in the freezer. Might be chicken breast with mushrooms.
Won't be buying much at all this month as need to save up for ds' birthday, my holiday, decorating and summer clothes and sandals. Really need to win the lottery as that's the only way I'll manage getting that lot lol.
I fancy making my Turkish red lentil balls with lettuce wraps. It'll use some store cupboard ingredients and it's nice and light for spring.
Anyway, best finish my cuppa then run for the bus. Enjoy your day all. xThere's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

Morning all.
Ended up having chicken with mushroom, the last of the potato waffles (both things from the freezer) and spaghetti hoops for tea last night... baby food lol. Ds really enjoyed it tho and ate the lot, licking his plate. Not often he finishes a meal.
Meals for today will be soup and black pepper Ryvita. Tea will have to be something out as probably going to my brother's after I pick ds up from school.
Not planning on doing much food shopping. Just need milk and potatoes really.
Right... got to do my job search, and then wallpaper stripping... urgh... enjoy your day all! There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. No cooking at home, given food too so more stuff in. Did ship some frozen allotment fruit over to family.
Just waiting for my salad box to turn up.
Got no bread, need to make some. Had lemon iced bun for breakfast..
Prepped couscous, houmous, salad stuff for lunch.
Dinner - probably the soggy dahl as I couldn't fit one portion in the freezer. Will have with the naan that just arrived in the delivery.0 -
All meals from cupboards and freezer today.
B - Had a huge fruit salad and yoghurt to use up some of the fruit mountain!
L - beans on toast and green salad.
D - Fish pie using fish from freezer. Everything else already in stock.
Have also made tomorrow's lunch - HM cornish pasties - again everything from stores or freezer. Have also made tomorrow night's dinner - Gigantes Plaki, which is basically a tomato & butterbean sauce. Will just need reheating and will cook some rice to go with it. Really cheap to make, I got the recipe from A Girl Called Jack website.
Leftovers will be lunch on Sunday with a jacket potato.

Planning to make risotto on Sunday to use up last of the Quorn chicken and the rice in the cupboard.
Made a big pasta bake, didnt have any mince so subbed it for a pack of chopped bacon, threw in the tin of Paroli tomatoes that I got free (thank you 50p coupon) and three triangles of diarylea cheese, stirred it all up and cooked it
Been taking food to work with me, which is saving a few pennies as I dont need to keep forking out for sandwichesJust buy a drink at the corner shop (and/or wedges from Morrisons on the hot counter
) and if I fancy any other snacks I get them at the same time.
Still on track with mealplan as well although had to throw out some rotten mouldy veg a couple days ago, otherwise not too bad with waste.0
