hmmm... I thought it'd leaked from the bottom as I'd plugged a hole lol, but perhaps it came over the top as it was quite full. I'll give it another go and try it with less filling, then see what happens. Thanks Flo. x

Has anyone used the Tesco online meal planner?

Just wondered if it was any good or not.:)

    Afternoon all.

Yesterday I got quite a few bargains, 2 nakd bars for 40p wish I'd got more, 2 tins of tomatoes free and a box of mint tea bargain!

I had a smoothie for breakfast, beetroot, mandarins, peaches, a carrot, mixed berries, had a cashew cookie bar for a snack having 2 slices of meatloaf in 2 mini pittas, then after Zumba, meatloaf and rice with veg, need to get something out the freezer for tomorrow, meatloaf I did on Sundays even though I had dinner at my grandmas, I've been using it for dinners and lunches since, lasted quite.long!

Morning all. Lousy looking day outside. Pouring it down. I would have loved to have a lie in this morning but ds slept at Mam's last night and I forgot to give them his school jumper and packing up bag, so Dad's picking it up. Then he's taking me to B&Q to get paint and wallpaper since it's oap Wednesday and he'll get me 10% off.

Anyway - meals yesterday were a sandwich for lunch and quiche for tea, both bought from Tesco. Had to eat on the run and have tea at mam's.

Today's meals I've not got a clue about either. Really need to meal plan!!!! Think I'm going to make those Turkish lentil balls. Need parsley for those.

Jelly - That meal planner looks ok. Not used it but spotted the meals in 30 mins which will always come in handy lol.

Penny - I'm shocked by your stash!!! Looks like you've enough roast dinners to last you well into summer with all that chicken and lamb lol.

Flo - The kitchen is looking good! I'm getting excited about it being finished!

The photo with the sink and units is the utility area in the garage.
Don't get excited - waiting for photos of a finished kitchen - problems.
No chance of my kitchen being ready yet! :( The men arrived this morning to find that the floor levelling compound was still wet. They were meant to lay the kitchen floor tiles today and the electrician was booked to come tomorrow. I had the tiles being delivered this morning.
The men were unable to do any work so left and said - ring when the tiles arrive - we will come back to carry them in. They had not been gone long when I got a phone call - so I had to get them back here - 3/4 ton of tiles to carry in the house. So now no progress on the kitchen and the electrician will not be here until Tuesday. :(
I now have a wet kitchen floor and a hall full of tiles.
The kitchen chap said to me as he left last night - we are on schedule - spoke too soon. :rotfl:
    Today.

  • This morning I've made up 3 good sized portions of pasta bolognese, using half a bag of frozen quorn mince, a bag of cooked peppers from freezer, some frozen spinach, tin of black olives, tinned tomatoes, herby garlic cloves in oil, and finished off remnants of a bag of wholemeal pasta. Tinned peaches for sweet.

2 days to move! Nearly all the kitchen stuff is boxed up bar cutlery and essential crockery. Gulp.
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:
