    Morning all.

Ended up spending £14 in Tescos yesterday on whoopsies and a couple of other things. Not all of it was my money though as I bought mam a whoopsied rolled duck breast with orange and apricot stuffing, reduced from £7 to £3. Bought one for myself too.

Ended up having a mexican chicken and black bean tortilla dish last night. Shared it with ds. He ate a bit of it before he realised it was slightly spicy lol so ended up giving him something else once he'd ate the cheesy non-spicy tortilla part.

Just going to have a cuppa soup with ryvita for dinner today. Don't know about tea yet.
When I have emptied my freezer, I am going to be more health conscious about what goes back in, much less meat for sure, and I am hoping more fish. I seem to have bought a lot of reduced price meat which is leading to many evening meals of grilled something and veg. Quick and easy after work but it is too much meat.

That's typical of me too. Most of the time my meals are dictated by what whoopsies I buy which the majority of time are meat based. I don't mind that, as I get to try things I'd never normally buy lol, but I too would like to have more fish.

ETA - Thanks to those who advised about freezing the cocktail sausages. :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon all.
Popped into Morries and bought some ham for £1.31 and a pack of 6 large baps for only 50p (offer), so £1.81 spent so far.
Noticed Morries have the 1l bottles of Napolina EV olive oil for £2.99.

I'm taking the shelves out of the garage freezer now as they empty and they are NOT going back in until it's fully empty!! I made the mistake last time of putting that first empty drawer back .................. lesson learnt!! lol

Tea tonight will be Thai green curry, from the freezer and a batch I made a while ago (the last portion:().

I finally bought my kitchen storage jars - from Ikea, in the end, they seemed to be the cheapest; thanks to everyone for their recommendations, oooh, a few weeks ago now.

I also picked up my new (to me) food processor, and can't wait to have a play with it:)

    Um yes :o Sorry :o

NSD and have raging sore throat and sneezing bah.

Might cheer myself up with organic strawberries and clotted cream :) Strawberries are one of the few fruits I can eat without my blood glucose getting really high. I assume it's cos strawberries have lots of fibre (all those little pips of the outside for a start).

Got birthday card from MIL with £20 today but can't think of anything I want to buy just for me, right now.

OH says new bed arrives next Wednesday :j:j:jThe up to 60% off offer at Sainsbury's ends on 16th April if anyone interested.
We saved over £500 and getting 779 Nectar points so dead chuffed.

No freezer/larder movements so far, just sucking lozenges.

    Hope everyone else well xxx

    Morning all.

Had a NSD yesterday. Wish I could say the same about today but I'm getting my hair done, and it's costing £68! All I can say, is it better be fab! Don't need any food so going to avoid the supermarkets this week. How successful that'll turn out, I don't know.

Really need to save up for ds' birthday, the holiday and decorating now.

Going to have piri piri veggie burger for my tea. Don't know about lunch, probably soup.

I've never heard of Mrs Simkins. Who is she? lol

Edwardia - hope you feel better soon. x
