    I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon all.

Car passed MOT with only a small repair - total including a service £190 - thankful for that and slightly over last weeks "windfall", so only about £20 out of pocket, but lost windfall!!

katskorner - meant to say, wishes for your hubby with job prospects. Good that he's done OK out of it and takes the pressure off.
Hubby's place will more than likely be "offloading" staff next year and hubby will take redundancy, or at least volunteer if enhanced enough.

Think I'll stay in and achieve 4 x NSD's in a row and pick up bits tomorrow. I should come in under £15 easily now and have the luxury of buying a few luxuries if wanted within that. lol

Weather is much brighter now, so Scarborough next week is a dilemma!!

Hi everyone, it seems I may have missed rather alot but no time to read everything so hugs to the lot of you!!!

v1ckyt you sound just like me although I manage to spend less than £500 per month... need to get to about £300 if I can!

All manic with my freezers. Trying not to shop (but it is my escape) as hubby is defo losing job due to redundancy next week... but not doing too bad. The world just feels a little up-ended!

Haven't managed to get it below £500 since last August...and that's when we were away for a week. Prices horrendous, but guess just got to do wha we can to cut costs.

    NSD for me yesterday.

Not sure what is for lunch today but dinner is mushroom and cannelini bean stroganoff (not sure OH has cottoned on that it is a veggie meal!) with left over basmati rice from the fridge and some dried mushrooms from the cupboard.
