Sounds like you've got a busy week ahead Deleted_User. Hope it all goes well for you. :)
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Not having a great March, first my dog then today I got a call and my cousin's wife died this morning. Bolt out of the blue and poor man is terribly distraught, as you'd expect.

Sprinkling of snow here and Abel & Cole managed to get through this time :TBunches of daffodils I got on offer from Ocado are starting to come out and make kitchen and sitting room look more cheery.

Edwardia - not a great March at all. Hope things get better - take care.

Back from Morries and resisted the offers, but some great 50p fruit and veg offers on this week - similar to Aldi Super 6. Hope they continue with this stance. Just posted offers.
So NSD and trying to "plod along" until Thursday and ONLY bargains too god too miss will be bought.

Finished off the apple pie and custard, hubby had Dr Oetker pizza (well over-priced and glad they only worked out at 70p each).

Found the mince, so cottage pie tomorrow and took out small beef joint for Wednesday. Sorted!!

Hope you're doing ok Edwardia xx

Needed to buy some bread today and I also picked up some cheap value tins of soup since I've run out of tomato, which is my favourite flavour. Never tried value ones before, but worth a shot because if I do like them, then it'll be a lot cheaper in the long run! Also picked up some energy drinks for me and OH and he bought us both a bar of chocolate whilst he was on his way home from work.

Desperately need to not buy any cupboard/freezer food, as they are literally bursting! I spent Friday evening making marmalade with YS oranges (which I was really happy with, my first attempt, and it came out nicely!), banana bread with YS bananas and carrot cake with YS carrots. All portioned out and put in the freezer :) Plus I chopped up and parboiled what felt like a million carrots and parsnips, which are now also in the freezer.

Breakfast was leftover pizza (free from OH's work), lunch a piece of toast with marmalade and dinner was left of Chinese that a friend treated us to yesterday. So, not a very healthy day :p

    Edwardia, sorry for your loss.

Very cold here today, snowing on and off, glad to be home in the warm. Had the fish tonight with a jacket potato, unsure yet what to take out for tomorrow, will wait for hubby to get home from work to see if there is anything he wants out, or may make a vegetable soup.

Cold, cold day here today, some snow this morning but nothing since but still plenty on the ground.

Food today was egg roll late morning then dinner was chicken, mashed tatties, carrots and Swede and cheese sauce.

Catch up tomorrow now as off to bed as can't get comfy as my back is playing up again !!.
