Into freezer tonight, 8 HM yorkshires and a tub of cooked beef, hope I can fit them in!
Will check out what I can pull out for tomorrow whilst I'm in there0 -

Nothing in/out of the freezer today. Milkshake/smoothie for breakfast (YS strawberries, banana, milk, YS blueberries and YS innocent smoothie tubes). Picnic lunch of cheese rolls, crisps, YS doughnuts and YS grapes shared with OH. And I'm feeling sleepy and lazy, so I think I'm going to have a cup of tea and weetabix for dinner! And possibly the YS tapas potatoes in tomato sauce that are in the fridge.
Not much spent on food today, just £1.99 on some drinks :j0 -
Hi all, removed from freezer this morning steak mince, made cottage pie with this tonight. Chicken breasts out ready for tomorrow, not sure yet what we will have with them. Nothing going in freezer, I am starting to see space. :T

Didnt post yesterday as was shattered when I got in after a very long day. Interviews are all done now, we were told originally that we would have results by the end of the week, but tonight got a email from my manageress saying that the "standard was so high" that the results will be "delayed until Monday".
Argggggggggggggh.
:rotfl:
Anyway not much freezer movement as I didnt eat the meals I had made for myself yesterday so I had them today instead. Nothing gone in freezer, but took out some steak so DM can make steak and kidney pie tomorrow. Will also be using up some potatoes and veg to go with it (mash but not sure what veg atm).
Got a rotten sore throat and a bit of a tickly cough, probably half from nerves and half from sitting in icky Drs surgery on Monday. Lovely lovely germs.0 -
Morning all. Hope the people suffering get better quickly. Cold here again Had the heating on yesterday, was hoping I'd seen the end of that.
Last night I had a few chicken wings with rice infusions and a reggae reggae casserole sauce, which I didn't think too much of. Haven't got any plans for meals today. Will probably have soup for lunch and kiev for tea tonight. Will have a look in the freezer to see what I've got. Also need to plan tea for tomorrow as ds is having a friend over.
What do people think of the news that people who eat processed meat are more likely to die younger? I expect in a year or two, they'll find the findings were flawed for some reason. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Morning all.
Had porridge, hubby muesli.
Lip_Stick - I think there are varying degrees of processed foods, but processed food has been around for ages and loads and loads of fit pensioners about. Moderation with everything I suppose??
We tried some of the "value" ranges years and years ago and nearly set the grill on fire. lol
Good quality sausages and burgers, will be just that. Some of the MRM (mechanically recovered meat) is disgusting and Bernard Mathews amongst others used to use that filthy process. We banned BM stuff years ago, but obviously they'll probably produce for others.
Not sure what's happening today as car may need to go in, just waiting for phone call.
Can I make it 3 x NSD's in a row??
Pasta bake just needs reheating, so easy day.
Hope all suffering are recovering.
