Morning all.
Quite a few suffering, wishes to you all.
Edwardia - sorry to hear about the dog. Take care.
Just had "Oats So Simple" for breakfast, Golden Syrup flavour and wasn't too bad, maybe a little sweet. Handy little sachets and great for taking on holidays.
Need to tot up Feb spends (getting lazy).
Hoping for a NSD today, well it will be a NSD today.
That leaves a tad under £4 for tomorrow. I might pop to Aldi for carrots and maybe some veg.
Stir fry later and fish and HM chips tomorrow. Hubby will have salmon en croute.
I'm going to start couponing again from today, been lazy there also!!
Freezers are going down, just slower than wanted.

Morning all

Off out to get some grapes for DM today after I'm done here. Thats the only spend today unless I have to go to the Post Office to send some returns back for her as well.
Not much freezer movement again, just a ready meal out for tonights dinner. Will probably have the other half packet of the filled tortellini for a quick lunch, as it needs to be eaten within three days and I wont be at home tomorrow afternoon.
Really happy as one of my lodged claims on TCB finally came through so I have £8 going into my bank account from those "free valentines chocolates" last month
Love to all

Just been looking through a copy of 'Take One Pot' by Georgina Fuggle (great name:)), "Super-simple recipes to cook in one pot", so, more economical, more-stress-free cooking - oh, and less washing up:j. The Treacle Baked Beans look like a must-try recipe, as does Quiche in a Suitcase (a quiche made and cooked in a hollowed-out loaf).'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Just done my Feb spends and they were - £97.21
Jan was only £58.38
YTD = £155.59
Not too bad, but Feb went astray!! That did include £17+ at the Nestle shop and still around £25 p/w. Quite a bit from "snap and save" would reduce Feb spends also.
Spends this week = £6.07 and £3.93 left to spend tomorrow.
I'm going to write a list for next week and pretty much stick to it. Noodles, spread, bacon, fruit, veg and bread are the main areas. Hopefully some nice "whoopsies".
Think we'll eat out one day next week also and might use last Groupon voucher (if valid).

Hi everyone, well my drum roll taaadaaah empty freezer moment never happened on Wednesday!! My lovely old dad came bearing gifts on Tuesday night - 4 packs of chicken breasts, two pizzas, four bags of doughnuts, salmon fillets and four packs of Lurpak. And it's all sitting in my freezer!! So another week or two before I finally have my moment
I sound such an ungrateful biiatch but I was really, really looking forward to cleaning it and starting afresh!!
Monthly budget has gone out the window but I'm still under what I spent last month even including some birthday bits and bobs so hopefully March will be slightly cheaper.
Loving all the chat. Take care all x0 -
No freezer movements.
No photo today - I just had easy meal - HM wedges, poached egg and peri peri baked beans. Tired out after tramping round the shops today. My tooth is hurting tonight.
