Katskorner big hug ((((((katskorner)))))) I know how that feels. :(

NSD for me today, got Riverford coming tomorrow. Booked dawg in for The Big Sleep Saturday cos though he rallied for a bit he's just not at all well now and I don't want him in discomfort.

Dinner is a cheesy veggie bake using up odd bits of veg and cheese - Cheddar, celery, carrots, peas, sweetcorn, sweet peppers, bell pepper, onions, shallots..

    xx

Out of freezer tonight - cooked sliced chicken. Going in freezer - 10 HM muffins.
We had HM wedges, gammon and HM coleslaw for dinner. MR F is away on business tomorrow so will eat out. I made extra wedges so I can have a quick meal.
While oven was on - made Cinnamon and Raisin Muffins.

Goodness bad things flying at me from ALL directions! First my tooth earlier in the week, then I slipped my disc out on Tuesday (have had long term problems with it for years) and it was so bad to the point I got sent to A&E yesterday where I spent a few hours being poked and prodded and asked all sorts of questions (AGAIN) but all they could do was give me a load of diazepam to relax the muscle spasms so hopefully allow the disc to move back into place. However, this will take a few days so am still in agony. Have barely slept for three night as I can't get comfy.

Have to have a week off work - which isn't a problem, they know all about my problem and work is very quiet anyway and I'll get paid. Annoying though, that the weather is getting so nice (still cold, but nice) and all I'm going to be able to do is sit in the chair .

On the plus side, the pain and the medication is making me feel quiet nauseous so I've barely eaten anything in the last couple of days as I just don't fancy anything. Mr S has had quick things out of the cupboard and the children have been at mum's the last three nights so barely any food has been touched here!

Amazing to see some of the results some of you have had for February - I'm going to have a bit of a think about some challenges I can set myself for February today - not like I can do much else!

    Take care all.

    Morning all

Raining here, and cold. Have to go to the job centre for a loan parent meeting. God knows what they'll talk about, but I can imagine that it'll be a waste of time and money.

Got to school yesterday and ds' best friend's mum asked if he could stay for tea so walked all that way for nothing lol. But ds has been asking for ages to go so he was really happy about that.

I ended up having carrot and coriander falafel wrap for tea. May pick up an boiled egg and salad sandwich for dinner while out. Think I'm going to do bolognese for tea.

Edwardia - sorry to hear about your dog. Must be a difficult time for you and the hubby.

Sessie - Hope the back gets better soon. x
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.
