Hi all I'm a bit of a lurker lol.
I have picked up some pork mince (whoopsied) and I am sure that I read a lovely sounding recipe using it on this thread recently but I cannot find it.
Can anyone help me out please
Thanks in advance.
Ps I read the thread daily and so far this year I have cleared two shelves in the freezer. You are all an inspiration.OD £500

I came across this Personal Survival Budget for people to work out how much a week they are spending (or ‘Total Needed to Survive’), which I thought might be useful; though I’m sure the well-organised ones here have already done something similar. Yeah and should be firmer if more veg fibre etc - generally goes through the digestive system a lot faster. I found it most noticeable when eating meat if having something like an Indian takeaway, where I used to sit there feeling very full for hours unable to digest it very well, compared to veggie one.
See if this works:
I emptied the hoover, put the nozzle over the dust pile/hole to hopefully suck it up, went outside and banged the dust compartment on the grass, didn't see bug but now waiting to see if the sawdust builds up again...

I can Deffo tell the difference, but i guess It's good, at least I'm not backed up, I don't miss meat, but I think my meals would.get boring, can't wait to have lamb on saturday, I think I will incorporate 2 Veggie days a week into my diet like Lynsey did last year.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

^ I saw one answer talking about 1 foot long lol. Edit, just measured it and that's 3" longer than my forearm, that can't be healthy!
I think even if I ate meat it would be a good idea to mix more veggie meals and pulses in on certain days ^ like you say. It's maybe habit with meat eating but it seems to me it's a lot of meat to have it in every main meal and much less variety in meal contents - being veggie really upped the amounts of different foods I eat.0 -
Easy meal tonight - pasta with Tideford fresh sauce with leeks, courgette, rocket and broccoli. Slice of hm oat bread toast with lot of garlic butter!

SMITHYCAT - welcome. I think Jane was talking about pork mince a while back??
Just snacked and don't fancy a main meal, so hubby is having spiced parsnip and carrot soup (he made it).
Today's planned meal for tomorrow.

!!!!!!, looks like I have the largest of those
Not sure what to do at the moment, I can't risk using any treatment in here with the animals - will ship the table to my parents house when they get back! Bit worried it may have come back from holiday, the beetle that is, as that article mentions some can be in the wood for a few years before coming out.. may have to bin the table altogether0 -
Lunch was cheese salad sandwich & fruit, tea was baked potato with fresh chives, cheese & Quark - and I checked all the ingredients beforehand for creepy-crawlies:rotfl:
Another NSD today, so that's 5-in-a-row now:)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
