    Went to sainsbobs again today

got my free pizza, some reduced braising steak, lamb chops, roast beef slices and deep filled sausage rolls. Can't fit anymore in the freezer so need to start using up stock from now! Going to aim for the end of the month.

I've been listing the freezer items we have and am gonig to try and budget myself £30 for the rest of october for food. (minus maybeee a £10 dine in waitrose offer - instead of a night out, so still being good!)

I reckon i could do it. Going to run down the freezer before going shopping though!

You've just reminded me I've a pack of those beans at the top of my cupboard, had forgot about them! Thing is though, if I open them, I know I'll be eating beans virtually every day for a week. I liked those snack pots, just used my last one of those. They were the perfect size for me and ds, but no way on earth would I pay the normal price they're supposed to be.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Spent a fortune today..............a whopping £5.58. lol

    4 pints of milk - £1
pack of mars bars - £1
pack of milky ways - £1
    packet of crisps - 59p
pack of frozen curly fries - 40p reduced
pack of frozen sweetcorn - 93p
bag of bramley apples - 20p reduced
    pineapple - 20p reduced
2 cartons sea salt - 58p each, but £1 knocked off using free pizza coupons so only 16p (pizzas 2 for £2 at ASDA or £1.50 each, but coupons went through at £1.50 each)
mini nan breads - 10p reduced

Splashed out on some goodies (mars bars. milky ways and crisps as budget is going well) - a special treat.

Still need olive oil and some jam now and a little veg.

Making a deep dish apple pie tomorrow and took some burgers out and some muffins - nice easy day.

Got 6 free pizzas to get rid of now and one large reduced one - good "investment" though. ;) :money:

Should be a no-spend-day tomorrow, unless Sainsburys have something late on.

:o To be fair! I've not spent over £30! I've hit that amount, so got to try and live off what we've got for as long as possible!

Went out for dinner last night....but OH paid so that doesn't count!

So take no 3 for the gammon for his dinner! it WILL get eaten this week.

I'm going to have tuna jacket potato, as there is half a tin of tuna in the fridge i need to eat. and will spend some time meal planning for the week ahead so i stick to what we've already got ;)

my hubby recons the snack pots taste odd lol, thankfully i didn't buy 2 many, i found 3 in the back of my cupboard 2 weeks ago when i clearer it out so i made a point of using them for tea the next day

i'm off to iceland today, i need milk and bread but i'm running very low of funds this month so i'm going to use my love2shop voucher but it means i'll have to spend £10 rather than the £5 or so i had planned, i might get chicken nuggets i only buy them in iceland because they do 100% breast ones for around £2 but to buy the same in tesco is more and you get less, ds is having a wee obsessiver period over pancakes, he's eaten 3 packets this week and now i'm all out so i'll need 2 grab some.

so today we had pancakes for breakfast, lunch is gonna be pasta and dinner is prob gonna be chicken nuggets chips and beans (i might open my big pot of beans and get some eggs that way i can use some tonight and some in the morning for a fry up :) )

lolol, you made me chuckle. Will let you off. :D

Might have a boiled egg wrap for dinner, and free pizza for tea. I really need to buy some frozen veggies, carrot and swede juliennes, and cauliflower and broccili mix. I don't think I've got the room for them though. I guess as I've been using them up, I've been filling the space up with other stuff. :o

You got any bacon? You could grab some cooking bacon, use some for your fry up and it comes in useful for sandwiches and soups too. Haven't had pancakes for ages, ds and I like the lemon and sultana ones from Asda. Only bought them whoopsied tho lol. Tight mare that I am. :D

Think I've changed my mind for my dinner and have jacket pot and tuna like bramble as I've half a tin of tuna and a spud that needs using up.
