My neighbours decided at 7:55am to play baseline music, they live on top of me, so I went up and asked if they were being fjdbsuas serious, they did turn it down, but the bassline was still going, so i went up again, this time they said It's gospel music, told them i dont care, to which they replied we are going to church, but they did turn it down.
We had neighbours downstairs who would do this, slammed doors at all times of night, loud music and parties. They were lavatian, so didn't understand our complaints, so we sent down our much friendlier Latvian neighbour... who got a mouthful. After their living room window was smashed, we reported them to the letting agent.
We are currently having neighbour issues, someone in our block of flats is putting non recycling rubbish in recycling bins which means our bins haven't been collected since 22nd December. We just went out to move out bin and surprise, a black bag in each one. I've flipped, last week they put used condoms, tampons, mouldy food in mine!
Moving on... yes! I was very happy with my loot. I'm going to look online for some different recipes to try with my chicken.
Tonight was slow cooked belly pork and veg. Pork is lovely (new meat eater here!) but I wont be buying belly pork again, not a lot for my money. Next time I'll buy a joint of pork. Now I am employed, lets get rid of this student debt!0 -
Evening all. Had the burgers, wedges and veg for dinner, with the peppercorn sauce. Yummm. Was annoyed tho as I did a small amount of sauce with ds not liking it last time, and this time he decides he likes it so pinched half of mine! Had scrambled eggs with muffins for tea, ds ate the lot.
Taken mince out of the freezer for tomorrow, for meatballs. Ds loves um. Need to buy frozen veg and chips or something as ran out of a lot of stuff.
Feeling really tired this evening so won't be long before I go to bed.
Lynsey - I'll have one big headache on my hol... called 'the ex'.
Kitty_Ears - some people on the forum get a right bee in their bonnet at times!
MNR - hope your headache eases.. and the headache from upstairs.
Kirri - I imagined you chasing young boys trying to whack them with your handbag lol. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

Just had a lovely roast dinner cooked by hubby. Used a large chicken from freezer and portion of christmas stuffing which was lovely. Loads roast veg and steamed veg
. Oh yes and small yorkshire puds to use up a pack. Nommy!
Also used a pack of sausages this weekend from freezer for brekkies.
No idea what to do tomorrow as yet. Will dig something out in the morning if not enough chicken left. If there is then it will be ceaser salad (10p at Asda) and chicken with french bread (7p today at Asda). Boys will need something healthy so will have to get creative!
Those neighbours sounds horrendous!! Some of ours are not too nice but at least they are not right on top of us and I can avoid them if I need to. We are the youngest in our road and some of our neighbours think kids should not play. We live in a cul-de-sac so they can and it does my head in. My youngest calls one neighbour "the shouty man" and worries not about doing it within his earshot!! lol.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Keep a look out in local papers if you have food factories near you, many do "open afternoons" & you can get food very cheap. Pleased with our loot!
Good for you - nothing worse than bad manners
thanks for tip will do x0 -
