Snow started slightly when we went out and got heavier and heavier over nearly 2 hours. Finished now and brightening up, but was very, very grey earlier.
Definitely enough to make several snowmen.
Didn't get to Asda and bought bread buns in Aldi along with sugar, butternut squash and new potatoes.
£2.32 spent and tot up later as I might venture out to Sainsbury's, then again I might not - see what the weather brings.
I want tomorrow to be a NSD and should have enough milk to last until Wednesday.
On a roll with the freezer and pork steaks out for tomorrow and starting on the ice cream. If I don't put anything in, I could have an empty freezer drawer (or equivalent) by this time next week - whoohooo.

OK.. umm ..a procrastinator is someone who thinks manana and puts stuff off and dithers, hence the proverb: 'Procrastination is the thief of time'. Er, I learned something useful at school maybe..
NSD apart from Beechams Powders for OH who has a man cold.
Btw Lidl has snow chains pn offer for 19.99 from Thursday.0 -
Went out to the Post office to send some stuff back and managed to stay out of the shops, although I really do want to go and look at that Halogen oven in Aldi!!
Lunch was not tomatoes on toast but instead was three squares of Yorkie which I found in the inside storage bin of the door of the car (goodness knows how long it had been there but it wasn't furry or anything so I ate it!) and an unopened bag of McCoys which was also in there, plus a flapjack which I had when I got in becuase I thought I had blown the diet anyway for today!! Dinner will be chicken though, and I am still going to make the onion rings to see what they are like.
The sky here is really "full of snow" so I expect we will get some later on. DD is really hoping for it in case the school closes!! It cracks me up the way they close the school - when I was there we went in even if the heating was broken and in all weathers - they just told us to keep our coats on!! One day I remember Sister Gwen coming round with a giant tea pot giving us all cups of tea all day because it was so cold and the heating was broken!! Imagine the H&S people now if they gave kids boiling hot drinks at their desks!! It was the late 70's though!!
Back to the work - only have two more sections to do now!!Jane

Sounds awful having bad neighbours, ours are really nice we get on very well together. Usually have a communal barbie in the summer and a get together at Christmas.
Sprinkling of snow this am, went to the doctors and they had cleared the carpark which was good, blood pressure sky high, need to arrange hips to be xrayed, just inside the bmi for surgery but will try to lose more weight - I'm just a mess
Lunch -plain salad, lettuce, toms, peppers, sprouts
Tea - roast peppers filled with toms and an asparagus sauce which I usually put on pasta, prob will be really awful tasting, plus 30gm 85% dark choc.
I'm backing out of the '£60 to the end of the month challenge' as I need to buy things to try and reduce blood pressure or at least not make it worse.0 -
I could eat lamb chops and onion rings right now, shame i have neither lol.
Had some juice and biscuit moments haven't had any for ages LOL as a snack, felt like a kid.
Lipstick My back is a o.k, I had to think for a minute what you were referring to Lmao, headache also gone, your head o.k? Even though you have a pending headache (ex) lol.
Going to do some potato chunks in the oven, probably roasted with skins on in garlic, to go with meatloaf and veggies and the last beet.
I'm looking forward to having a meatloaf sandwich for lunch tomorrow lol.
We had snow for 5 mins then it rained, London always gets it last, esp south London.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

zafiro1984 try https://www.bloodpressureuk.org my mother found it useful.
Not an NSD for me now as I chased up a refund and got it.
I wanted an organic tshirt from Sweden whch was on sale on the website but the website didn't like my English surname.
So then I found it for £40 at Harvey Nichols but Harvey Nicks didn't have my size left. Finally, I went to ASOS which I'd never used before and got it on sale for 20.50 plus free shipping. :T That leaves me £11 to indulge myself with yet further.
Yep, 20.50 is a lot for a tshirt and it's probably the most I've ever spent as normally I get the Sainsbury's TU organic cotton ones for a fiver or buy tshirts in Oxfam.
But I really wanted this one she whines.. it's red and it says 'Time can't be recycled'...0 -
Hm soup was ok, livened it up with garlic, chilli and dukkah, with the hm bread. Still got 10 portions in the freezer from 2011..
Pasta was nice again, followed by a mince pie (from the hamper).
Anyone see SuperScrimpers? Family spending 20k a year on food?!
Probably stir fry and tofu tomorrow as plenty of veg needing using up. Need more fruit so might have to go out..0 -

I'm veggie too. I prefer Quorn, but it is not milk free so we have Linda Mccartney stuff now which are mostly vegan. Quorn said they have a new range coming out that was milk free so will see what that is all about.0
