Kitty I bet your pleased with your loot.
Lipstick I will join in headaches, think mine is tooth related, although no teeth are hurting I have a permenant headache.
My neighbours decided at 7:55am to play baseline music, they live on top of me, so I went up and asked if they were being fjdbsuas serious, they did turn it down, but the bassline was still going, so i went up again, this time they said It's gospel music, told them i dont care, to which they replied we are going to church, but they did turn it down, I woke up at 1pm and needed to.get.out, so went for my hill.walk, looking like a tramp again, there is a barber shop at the top of.the hill, who did I bloody see? An ex, so i had to hide lol every walk seems to be a different flipping suprise, on the way back I saw my neighbours husband, I told him I'm going to complain about the music, he said he was really embarrassed and that he was sorry, but his wife has mental health, I said look evertime it happens I knock your door, but this is the final straw! He said he will turn the speakers off so she won't do it again.
Back on topic, had pasta, I felt it was too late for.porridge and will be having meatloaf wrapped in Bacon with a sauce, the remainder of the spinach and egg fried rice with some veg carrots and pak choi. Added a few dribbles of reggae sauce, so that's finished and the last few dribbles of light mayo, won't buy light mayo any more, I find when I mix it with pasta, when left in the fridge it dries up, also found that it happens with coleslaw very strange.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Confession time.
I bought two frozen packets of Mushroom and Chestnut grills despite having some in the freezer already. But they were 2 for £3 and they are normally £2.75 each so I thought they were too good a bargain to leave. I promise not to eat them in advance of the rest of my stock.
Looking at the stock I do have makes me think that some of the things I have bought thinking I would try them and haven't got round to it. I have two tins of soup. Now I don't really like soup but these seemed to be ones that I thought I might try and now I have no choice, but they may be the last things I eat (not literally, just the last of the stock!). I was also going to make my own green thai curry so I have some paste and coconut milk that I have been trying to avoid.
It doesn't help that I am trying to lose weight - I have so many things that won't help that in the cupboards. Two cakes with bb dates of the end of January and I haven't started on the Christmas cake that my daughter made for me.Not Rachmaninov

Afternoon all, been out all day with friend. A very slight dusting of snow over-night and hoping it doesn't arrive her tonight. Those that want it are welcome to it!!
Just saw the forecast on the BBC, the coast up 'North' seems to have a great big exclamation mark on it! Bit hit and miss here whether we get it, looks like might get mostly rain
MNR - could you report them to the environmental noise people?
I did 3 hours of walking/being outside today, even managed to chase after some kids who nearly hit me with a golf ball
Teacake for breakfast, last one so need to bake bread tomorrow.
Finished the last of the xmas snacks when I got in for very late lunch, was starving by time I got in.
Going to do the pasta shortly to use the last of the stilton/rocket up.0 -
Afternoon all!!
Hope everyone is wrapped up warm - not sure if it will snow or not here but its freeeeeezing outside!! Doing well so far - made dinner for 4 with fish and veg from freezer, plus crumble for pudding!
Dinners for the 2 weeks up till payday pretty much sorted and I am contemplating whether to use a £12 off £60 MrT voucher to stock up on things ....
I dont actually NEED anything, but for £12 free shopping am wondering if its worth it....or will wait and see if any more £5 off spends at Aldi!
Need to stay strong...!0 -

I wouldn't stand an chance in a challenge with you Lynsey. I have only not spent anything as I've been too ill!
You have consistently led the way for the rest of us to follow for a long time!
Unchecked the chestnut puree. Tesco sweetened 2009. Hope that's good year!
Could I put it in a pie, like apple pie or jam tarts? My son will eat those!0 -
MNR - it's definitely worth complaining.
We used to have an alcoholic neighbour that used to knock knackered our door then run away all through the night. It was a nightmare for about a year because the only thing that stopped her was mental hospital, when prison and eventually eviction. She did affect lots of people in the street as well. Is anyone else complaining? Might be worth talking to your other neighbours too.0 -
canspendnomore - get well soon and enjoy the recent savings.
blueybug - meant to congratulate you on your sig. - well done.
We were mortgage free for years before trying to help Son save his house and ended up with 3 mortgages!!! Long story, but now under control.
Kirri - I keep watching the skies, see what tomorrow brings. MIL is in Aberdeen and we're supposed to be picking her up from train station on Wednesday (fingers crossed).
I hope you gave the kids their ball back.
Dinner is in and the black forest ham seems very smokey in flavour - hubby will like it though as he like kippers. I'm hoping it's a mild as smoked mackerel, that's my tolerance level!!

Good luck, I wouldn't fancy driving if it does snow bad, I wouldn't go admittedly!
No got it here lol, kept as evidence!
Just had the pasta and STILL enough ingredients to make it again tomorrow for the 4th night in a row.. I've now decided I like it and tempted to order another bit of cheese despite trying to be vegan (only ate it as won it..).0 -
MNR that light mayo is funny stuff I gave up on it too.
blueybug sorry for calling you bag unintentionally
zafiro1984 have you tried copper for your arthritis or glucosamine ?
Lynsey is that the Lidl Black Forest ham, OH used to eat that before we went organic. Lidl does great additive free prosciutto.
Kitty_Ears sadly not all threads are as friendly as this one
canspendnomore if it's the sticky unsweetened you might be able to put it in jam tart cases or mix with left over mincemeat for chestnut mince pies
I've been working on my new blog and so far x finger touch wood unlike the one on blogger it hasn't been copied by Chinese bots for scam websitesNo idea how I've ended up with any visitors at all let alone from Australia, USA, Canada, Poland, Germany, Norway, Malta, New Zealand, Russia, Belgium, Palestine and Dubai as well as UK.
My confession.. blogging this afternoon and not thinking while scoffing, I ate a whole 500g pot of Yeo Valley organic natural yogurt :eek:0
