Hi all, home again, having mr t's finest burger think it's the ones with cheese tonight with a few chips and salad everyone will be having the same. Had soup for lunch and toast this morning. The kids had rice krispies. Katskorner i done a freezer list a few months ago, it does take ages and it felt like my hands had frost bite by the end of it !!. I was good to start with and was marking of when i was taking stuff out and when i was puting stuff in but that didn't last to long. Now back to normal where it's stuff from the top that tends to come out though i do now have some idea of what's lurking under there.0

well you see that is the problem just trying. Keeping it updated by both of us. I would make sure I did but OH would probably lose track pretty quick and then we would be back to square one.
I want some salmon this week but got to find it first! lol.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

How about you take inventory of one freezer at a time....run one down and then start on the other...0

Hey guys
Took a trip to Mr t via po, got some yogurt sticks 75p for 9 bought 2 packs as I have been paying £1 for 6 or £1.50 for 9 organic, got some rice milk to try always wanted to try it, used coupon, got a can of beans obviously and some half price mayo £3.59 to spend, left the Campbell's coupon too late all the in sale stuff was gone, need to find something else to get on the cheap this week to add to hampers and charity boxes, no cheap jams, did spot jam for 36p the value range, might get 3 for the boxes at the end of the week, if i find nothing else.
Don't forget the free special k cereal, I won but the coupon did not appear.
Took lasagne out to eat.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Hi thanks for the welcome, my meal plan is taking shape slowly but is somewhat repetitive lol, we had sausages for tea tonight so 12 out of my 100 + stockpile have been used :rotfl: and half a bag of mushy peas gone as well, also took 2x marge out of freezer as we were running low. I have not been to the shops today but dad is bringing me some milk, bread and pots in, tea tomorrow may be chick kievs, might as well make a start on using some of them up. Pizza for the kids on weds (not sure about the adults yet) and will make a dent in the mass of meatballs for thurs (have 8 cartons of passata in the fridge)and 5 packs of pasta
I am not going to buy any food this week apart from bread, milk and some veg there really is no need for me to spend any money.0 -
Welcome elly2.
I think I am the same as you at the moment. I am so jam packed that I want to buy a large gammon joint which is going to be on offer at aldi from thurs special meat buy, but have no idea how I am going to get it in the freezer. I have to use a little step to look in my food cupboard as stocks stacked so high and i am still looking at xmas goodies that are creeping into the shopsLooking for bargains anywhere i can :hello:0 -
elly2 - I meant to ask, is most or all of your "stash" at reduced prices??
Better having food at approx 75% off in your freezer than money in the bank. lol
ms_night_ryder - I managed to get 4 coupons for the Special K - another foodbank donation.
Freebies today:
4 x Heinz 5 Beanz
Bought:
Pack of 4 Mars Bars @ £1
Pack of Strong Mints @ £1
Pack of Kingsmill bread buns (reduced) - 15p
Small wholemeal loaf (reduced) - 9p (for birds).
Days food total = £2.24
I've got to go out tomorrow, so I'll use a few coupons. I've got quite a few I need using as Brother printed some off today, but forgot the L'Oreal ones!!
Hopefully, I get my butter, frozen sweetcorn, crisps and nuts.
Burger in buns with fried onions tomorrow and toast for breakfast.
Away early on Wednesday for funeral, about 5.30am.
We'll be back late, so that's the planned NSD ................... but you never know.
Saturday should be a cheap day as I'll be giving Lidl a miss.
I noticed that Morries have pork shoulder on offer @ £2 per kilo and some nice joints for £4+, sadly no space or I might have bought one. Very cheap for a decent sized joint.

I hope the effort is appreciated. Still a few weeks to add more, but I'm just getting a few at a time now. God knows how many we've given away??
BTW - Morries accepted the Tesco coupon with no issues. Till girl reckons only 1 "outside" coupon per transaction, but stated the obvious, "Do as many transactions as you want".
So the Fairy 1.4l fabric conditioner was only £1 with the Tesco £1 coupon. I'll get a few of those whilst the offer is on. Probably give some away as I'm top-heavy on conditioner already. Too good an offer though!!
No food spends and just snacking, we are both off our food today.
I'll probably try Sainsbury's later ................... could always get some beans.
