    Morning all

My mum popped round yesterday after calling at her local butchers and brought me
6 packs of 6 rashers bacon
    5 packs of 6 sausages
2 packs of soy duck stir-fry
1 HUUUUGGGE Peking duck and pancakes to feed 6-8

All of them were ready frozen - she'd packed the bacon and sauages up herself into 'manageable' packs for me - I'm 42 and have been looking after my house and family for a fair while now  God bless her

And she knew DS1 and 2 both love duck - she didn't want anything for it all apart from a hug and 2 kisses :rotfl:

    I love my mum

  • Found out I have an utterly rubbish ward placement for the next 4 months... the joy of student nursing. Because of this, I've found some burgers in the freezer with I'll be having with chips. Ice cream for pudding. Anything to cheer me up!
Now I am employed, lets get rid of this student debt! :D:D

I have worked out we should have atleast 18 meals in the freezer. Tonight we're having tandoori chicken, pilau rice and nann breads.

I'm going to cook some soup for my lunches in the week. Not sure what i'll be eating today. I'm thinking about baking a cake..... so probably most of that!

Ended up being treated to a meal out last night, so didn't cook, defrosted some beef for tonight's meal.

Lunch is leftovers from yesterday. which i am going to heat up shortly.

Going to make some pasta salad for OH's lunches this week, I'll have the soup i've made.
