Morning all.
Edwardia - hope that back is ok.
Men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ma-ri-ella - good luck with the Green's hunt, it is "hit and miss". I would love more cheesecake mixes, but only seen it in one Morries.
Spent another 75p in Sainsbury's last night on bakery products. Reducing stuff to 10p and 15p and there were loads and loads.
Bought:
Warbutons loaf - £1.35 reduced to 15p = 15p
2 packs choc chip muffins - £1 each reduced to 10p each = 20p
2 packs multi seed bagels - £1 each reduced to 10p each = 20p
Pack of teacakes - £1 reduced to 10p = 10p
Bag oatmeal and raisin cookies - 50p reduced to 10p = 10p
Total 75p from £6.85.
Froze 16 slices of bread, 6 muffins and 8 bagels - filled some space but it'll all get used very quickly and still hoping for an empty drawer by the end of September!!!
To use up today:
1 egg (egg sandwich for hubby)
Muffins
Cheesecake
Cookies
Potatoes (for chips with fish)
Thinking of making some carrot and coriander soup, just a small amount for tomorrow.
I'm just having toast for breakfast and fish and chips later.
I need fresh fruit and veg and basically that's it apart from cheap bacon - Morries have an offer on and I could get some more Green's stuff and beans.
A bit of a grey day, hope it picks up!!

I Think my printers sick, takes 10 minutes to print 1 greens coupon, not good, although the next one seems slightly quicker, won't count ,my chickens though.
For breakfast i fancied something warm condsidering the weather, so i had warm milk with the free chocolate cheerios, the cheerios turned a bit rubbery, wont be doing that again, pretty much an hour later i have just had lunch lol, 3 mini piuttas, ham, coleslaw and cucumber, for dinner i am making jambaylaya she says lol.
I am heading out to do my audits in a bit, will pass mr s, and morries and asda, providing my greens coupons print i will get some more lol for the red cross box, also will go to mr s for beans, hopefully get washlets somewhere.
Have decided that for the months of october and november i will be only eating out the cupboards and freezer, i seem to be able to maintain full freezer with little effort and i want to get ready for the reductions in december, i will stock on waitrose offers hopefully lol, plus i will use any p[oint i have in december, will start picking up any offers for christmas from now onwards, any bogofs, as i just bring schloer and snacks usually, i already have a few christmas presents, lol.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Brilliant sunshine here but it's time for long-sleeved tshirts I think.
Lynsey - my back is feeling 99% better today thanks for asking. Do you ever make bread pudding with the YS bread ?
Contemplated buying a BNIB Early of Witney's cellular wool blanket at Oxfam but didn't cos I think it's too big. Did get some organic Fair Trade Palestinian Medjoul dates for Christmas though. Called OH he was relieved that I hadn't bought loads more books
Hope everyone is well. Doing dinner out of the veg box tonight. Soup then marrow Provencale with ratatouille. xx0 -

I don't really ................ but on the back of the Green's Egg Custard box, there is a recipe for bread pudding and maybe worth a try.
ms_night_ryder - are you printing the whole page or have you copied 3 coupons to print at once??
I just set my printer to print off 10 pages of 3 coupons.
Soup made for tomorrow and probably some pies or pasties to take out.
I need to go to the tip later and that's when I'll get my M&S cakes. lol

I have decided to clear out the freezer draw with the least in.
In my freezer this is draw 3,
Currently in there is
1 pack chicken legs
1 pack finest outdoorbred pork mince
2 whole trout
1 pack veal escalope
2 packs tesco finest pork chops
1 pack skinless and boneless cod fillets
1 pack lamb liver
2 ww pizzas.
Have already got beef out for tonight and taken out saucy fish co tuna for me and hubby and sausages for the kids for tomorrow.
Any meal ideas for my freezer drawer contents would be welcomed, especially the veal & liver as I don't like either but OH does.0 -
What a day i've had.
Decided that i would give a bag of food to the red cross today, i thought why am i hoarding it all for christmas people are hungry now lol, so gave them a m&s bag full of food, beans, pasta, 2 of the greens as thats all i had, batchelors noodles and some of the stuff from the snack box that i wouldnt eat, will try and give 2 bags in december one in the middle of december and one nearer to christmas.
Lol used 2 beans coupons in mr s, went to mr m and they have the greens n 2 for 75p, so first shop i used 2 coupons and got a bottle of drink for crimbo for 95p, 2nd shop i used 4 ccoupons, most ive used of the same one and it was no problem, got 2 of their finest scones with cream whoopsied for 95p and a bottle of water reduced to 21p volvic, paid £1.06 in total, on the way home i went to mr w my favorite, got their too late for most stuff, but did get 2 mini roasts chicken for £3.80 for both, these were priced at £3.99 originally, then reduced to £2.89 it was on a 2 for £6 deal, so it knocked £1.98 off at the till, bargain, it feeds 2, i'm going to save one to give to my uni cousin when i know her and her mates are running out of food, ie run out of student loan lol, will also make her up a box in the next few months, see what i can do with the coupons, lynsey is my inspiration behind this.
Finally made the jambalaya and it is now cooking, will eat in 20 mins, it has meatballs, chicken, beef and prawns, mixed veg frozen, the last of the on the turn baby carrots and fine green beans also some of the oep spice mix as didnt have cajun seasoning.
Oh and i did get some audits done, completed quite a bit.

Did my main shop for the week, it was very successful. Got everything we needed, including a few bits for the household, overall we spent £17.95 (if I hadn't included the non food items then it would be about £11
). Full price for the shop would have been £56.29 :j
My freezer is now almost bursting! Taken out some bread, and put in a massive 4 person pasta meal (will do 4 or 5 dinners for myself), 2 panini rolls (kept 2 out), some fresh paprika chips, another single pasta meal, a garlic ciabatta, a loaf of bread, and 4 pancakes (kept 4 out). Definitely need to restrict myself next week and will probably only need to get fruit and veg and maybe some meat for OH.

Decided to pop into Mr T last night just for a look as was finishing work late and they had loads of reduced bread so stocked up the freezer.
Also three packs of steaks (originally £4 each!), 16 pack sausage rolls and some mince and my freezer is bursting again!
Paid a grand total of £3.01 for £14.98 worth of food.
Today I decided to pop in today and they had loads of veg really cheap. Most of the stock was down to 10p or much less. Boz of mangoes from £4 to 20p, lettuce down to 4p, new potatoes down to 7p etc.
So spent 87p on £16.19 worth of food!
Just made a massive stew and still have loads of vegetables left - most will last a week or so I expect.Mortgage: [STRIKE]Jan 11 - £91830 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] Jan 12 - £89'199[/STRIKE] May 14 - £69'999 Car Loan: [STRIKE]Jan 11 - £3658 [/STRIKE] July 12 - £0!
