My fridge is looking very bare! Didn't have time for the usual weekly shop today, but stopped off quickly to stock up some Pepsi and managed to pick up a few bargains. We got a pack of roast beef (will be great for OH's sandwiches), a pack of roast chicken pieces, a pack of mini sausage rolls, 2 ginger cakes, a sticky toffee pudding cake, a bag of carrots, a pot of muesli yoghurt with fruit and a pot of vanilla yoghurt with granola - all for about £1.30. So spent about £5 over all :T I was quite happy because it was a lot later than I normally shop and normally there's no good reduced stuff left by then! Will do another proper shop later in the week at a better time and aim to spend £10 maximum :D

    A belated good morning.

No further shopping yesterday and not too much planned for today, but short on milk.
Had breakfast of toast with last Lidl cheese slice (cheap, but probably avoid next time).
Made the cheesecake, did use 1 1/2 boxes and filled a 8" tin nicely. Think I'll grate some chocolate over later??
Boiled beef and carrots again with mash and gravy, with a slice of cheesecake.

Possibly fish and chips tomorrow and that'll get rid of some cod fillets.

Smoosh - my fridge is nearly always bare, I just keep it ticking-over - less waste that way.

I'll need fresh stuff this week from tomorrow and probably 4 packs of sausages from Lidl on Saturday. I also need bicarb of soda to finally make some cinder toffee/honeycomb.

    Afternon all.

Lynsey thanks for the greens coupon, i went to mr s as i needed easy cook rice, so got a lemon filling and the cream dessert for 10p each, not really my kind of thing, was hoping for cheese cake lol, they did have the jelly topping for 68p, i will put the 2 i have in the box for the red cross at christmas, don't mind paying pennies for things to give away. mr s also had pink grapefruits for 55p, got some in lidl previously for 39p so i didnt bother, also their loose peppers were 80p tsk, passed the only stall in our little market fruit and veg, got 3 grapefuits for £1 and a red pepper for 40p :) I passed mr w and did not go in, really did not need to be bargain hunting lol.

Had the last lidls grapefuit for breakfast have taken out 2 mini pittas for lunch with ham, cucumber and coleslaw, i think i may have the leftover chines for dinner, there is 2 portions left so i will put a container in the freezer somehow, nothing else to come in or out, really need to use up all the whoopsied fruit i got last week and the carrots, may cook them to go with l/o tonight.

Also received my snack box, paid £12 in total from wowcher, had a credit for something else i cancelled, so got this instead, it has popcorn, oatcakes, liqorice, crisps, its supposed to be a snack a day for 20 days, the aim being all items are under 100 cals so guilt free snacking, hpefuly will last a while, may be near a asda tomorrow as i'm out doing audits all day, see how many i can do tomorrow lol, will go with with coupons, hopefully the washlets are still £1 in either mr a, boots or mr, they were 2 weeks ago lol, i want some more, i gave some to my grandma, who said she couldnt find them and she would like some more.

    39p item??
    Pie filling??
Only 35p in my local (reduced down).
I tried to get 6 today and the coupons scans at 40p ................ but the till op wanted to put them through separately and that would have messed things up and a possible alert. I took back 5 coupons for another day and put 1 through.

    Asda:
    4 pints milk @ £1
    2 packs of bread buns @ 2 for £1 = £1
    Green's pie filling @ 35p
    Sub total = £2.35
    Used 1 Green's 40p coupon
    Total = £1.95

I only want the pie filling to donate, so will keep on adding.

Decided on hot beef sandwiches today as I need to visit family member and taking a selection of stuff for her to help her out.
Only beans, Green's stuff and Morries fudge - but it clears some space. lol

Hopefully no more spends until tomorrow.

    Catch up tonight.
