Deleted_User - thanks for the msg it's gone well really, big full length linen curtains I bought in La Redoute sale for £20 2 yrs ago look fab verry happy picked up a really nice small rug from an ethnic shop for £10 too.
I feel a bit of a fraud being on here cos I don't keep much of a larder now and finding organic bargains is hard work BUT when books unpacked I did find an old 70s veggie cook book my mother bought me in a boot fair from Cranks (as in Cranks bread) and with 20% off organic veg at Ocado this month so I have loads veg atm and going to make some veggie foodHopefully that will be relatively cheap.
IN bacon, more bacon, Black pudding..Moy Park organic breaded chicken fingers for OH, Laverstoke Park pork chops
OUT the cheese mountain to use in veggie dishes :rotfl:

Morning all, not as nice today!!
Brisket simmering away for the last 1hr+ and will finish off in a low oven for a few hours.
Breakfast, just toast and coffee.
We've got to take my Brother to B&Q today, so shopping plans "out of the window"!!
Hoping to pop into Mories at some time though and clear the shelves of Green's Pancake Mix. I'll leave the beans for another day.
Probably ironic, but my spends will possibly be lower or still as low as the pressure is off and I can concentrate on using some of what I've collected. I could easily, if concentrating on the title of this thread, live on about £15 per week. I no longer need to grab "whoopsies" on a daily basis, but will select any great ones.
Fed the birds with some of my bread and spotted a robin which hasn't been around for a while .................. might like home-made bread. lol

Morning
Home made pizza bases have come out today for dinner. Frozen mozerella as well. Lunch has been sandwiches and fruit pack up. Breakfast was cereal.
An easy dinner as they will be making it themselves.
I am going back to work this afternoon for a few hours to see how I get on. Just doing paperwork and things.
I' m hoping if it goes ok I can can do a few hours everyday for the next month or so.
It will help financially and recovery wise I think.
Lynsey, I will trying the Byker store for the pancake and cheesecake mixes today.£36/£240

Soworried - good luck with both work and Green's hunting.
Strange, but I've found that different Morries stock a different small range of Green's products!!
I need a smaller loose bottomed tin, though I could possibly use 3 boxes of cheesecake mix to make 2 cheesecakes??
Forgot to add (sorry), but if you can get, or have 2 x L'Oreal shampoo coupons, Sainsbury's have them on @ 2 for £3.99 - 99p for 2 when using 2 coupons. :j :j
God, am I easily excited.

It was quite funny, because my cousin made a comment, she said oh you can shop at waitrose? you must be rich, lol to which i replied, no i'm deffo not rich, but i do know how to shop in waitrose lol.
Had the last 2 bagels i brought back with me, also came back with coleslaw and a pack of ham.
Don't know what i'm having for lunch or dinner, maybe some pittas from freezer with cucumber, ham and coleslaw sounds like a plan, weather i grim here, might visit the big asda that opened last week today, armed with coupons, sanex still wont let me print, printed a always one at my aunts, may go to mr t's undecided as yet, need a pack of easy cook rice, doing jambalaya this week, as i finally have all the ingridients.

Green's post with coupon link HERE
I embarrassingly got caught out in Morries. lol
Bought:
4 x Green's Pancake mix @ 50p = £2
Oykos yoghurts @ £1.09
Philly with chives @ £1
2 x Heinz 5 Beans @ 50p = £1
Sub total = £5.09
Used 4 x Green's coupons, but till op only scanned 3 (cry), so only £1.20 off. Used 2 x Heinz coupons which scanned @ 85p, so £1.70 off which more than covered the Green's mess-up.
£2.90 knocked off, so £2.19 spent so far.
Had to laugh after getting "ripped-off", they are getting their own back. lol
Boiled beef and carrots with mash was nice and we're just having the same tomorrow - another easy day.
Possibly no more shopping today.

This made me chuckle - you probably do far better with your savvy shopping at Waitrose but upon appearance it looks like you're giving the Jones' a run of their money
Good day here, although I went out to ASDA and LIDL with a friend and totally broke my budget - will be covered by my petrol expenses which I get back in the next month but felt quite naughty. To think I never would have batted an eyelid in the past and spent far more, plus everything I got will make the next two weeks a lot easier - and healthier with the fresh bits... I feel like I have to justify my spendings so much now though
Oh well ... it is covered anyway so a little splurge on fresh fruits/veggies/milk/yoghurts won't harm us
Out today: pasta & sauce sachet (used to make Slimming World quiche for friend who follows that), cottage cheese, two eggs, oreos, last of passata opened yesterday and pack of Warbutons square buns. :T0 -

:rotfl:Trust me i was bemused, my shopping in waitrose mainly consists of hunting down those red sticker items, that give you money off as well, lol, or when they have their chocolate and side glitches lol, they were eating whoopsied bbq chciken and coleslaw mix and a garlic ciabatta from said glitch lol, my new obsession is visiting waitrose lol, its amazing the amount of people that get their reduced items and most of their stuff doesnt go out of date for a day or two anyway.
So worried don't worry i also lied and had a take away lol, will make jambalaya at some point, found a good receipe.
Lidls grapefruit for breakie tomorrow, i tried one over the weekend, it was lovely, didn't need any added sugar or anything, will deffo visit lidl for these again.
Did not get out to use coupons.Lose 28lb 3/28lb
