Well done on your aspargus emmajane. Enjoy your brunch.
I have just realised that we have come to the end of our bread and rolls mountain from the freezers.:j
I now have 3 empty shelves and 1 shelf used for christmas shopping.
Just 4 more draws to go.Saying that I have just put the bread maker on to make the cheese bread from the new Asda magazine. If it is really nice I will make a few batches in to rolls for the freezer while I have time.

EasyJet flights have been released, but dearer than normal!!
We wanted Costa del Sol, but decided on the Algarve again as the flights were almost half the price and accommodation is much cheaper as well.
I'm going to coupon big style this month, hoping for even more offers.
Probably "hit" Morries 3 times today .................. at least.

miss_emmajane Lidl has Polish dairy fudge on promotion from today also chocolate covered marshmallow.
Wanted to have a NSD today but OH was moaning about lack of veg so just done another Ocado shop. My mother called while I was doing it so taking leaf out of Lynsey's book I asked her if she wanted Macleans, Fairy and Persil some of which are on offer. The veg and salad box was 20% off (organic September) and so were lots of organic veg so I think OH may get a few veggie meals. In total I saved over £14
Last night we had Abel & Cole organic chicken wings from freezer. OH did em with Cajun seasoning and they were delish.
Sorry not been reading stuff much with DIY. my OH not as speedy as Lynsey's ! He goes back to work Tuesday and is away Wednesday.0 -
First spend all week of £2.51 should of been nearly £16 but got it down with coupons.
Everything else this week has either been homemade or from the freezers!
I'm really pleased with myself this week! Sad I know but I like seeing the space in the freezer!0 -
Evening all.
biscuitmad well done on the saving.
Another busy day today, went to another focus group today, they fed and watered mehad cheerios using the last of the milk before i left, came home and put in the waitrose bbq chicken legs, 7 for £1.52
in the slow cooker and left for zumba, got back and they were cooked, i had put them on high, so put the spinach mornay and the rosemary spuds in the oen also from waitrose, forgot to eat the coleslaw, but will do that tomorrow, leftovers for lunch.
Not stepped foot in sm, was going to go and get some stuff with coupons, but i think its silly to go just for coupons, freezer still full, so don't need anything.
Will try and cram other pack of veg in freezer, going to my aunts tomorrow night, will prob bring remainding chicken legs or order dominoes using code. might come home saturday, still loads of fruit to eat.
running out of deodrant and can't get the sanex coupon to work, going to use my aunts computer to print sanex as the stupid code wont recognise for some reason, will also print more always and stop by asda and bring her some washlets, prob 2 packs lol.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Well done biscuit mad!
Think I've taken this eating out of the cupboards and freezer a bit too far ! Even with our top up shop we have ran out of all sorts of things this week. As planned I'll have to do a big shop at the weekend to re-stock Old Mother Hubbard's bare cupboards. I feel like a bad wife
It doesn't help that I buy bread just for me (as hubby states he is off bread) and then he floors half a loaf in sandwiches when he feels like it, which of course is fine, but the bread that I thought would do me for a week has ran out. Sigh.
Can get one more week's dinners (maybe 2) out of the freezer but need to stock lunch items better.
OUT: box of mini muffins for lunches, packet of savoury rice, packet of crumpets, 2 pitta breads.
Dinner tonight will be something delightful like toasted pittas for me and kiev& chips for OH as we are going out.0 -
Morning all.
ma-ri-ella - full tub. lol
biscuitmad - well done, fantastic savings and well done with the freezer space. I'm going to have to try harder and clear a drawer!!
Lovely meal last night and was stuffed!!!
Got a few things in Morries yesterday, but didn't do a return visit ................. just wanted to get home after eating.
Yesterdays spends:
Morries (2 spends combined):
4 x Heinz 5 beans @ 50p = £2
4 x Greens Pancake Mix And Golden Syrup Sauce @ 5op = £2
2 x onions @ 50p = £1
Carrots (1kg) @ 50p = 50p
Pickled onions (offer) @ £1 = £1
2 x Colgate Plax @ £1 = £2
Sub Total = £8.50
Used 4 x Heinz 85p coupons (minus £3.40), 4 x Green's 40p coupons (minus £1.60), 2 x Colgate 75p coupons (minus £1.50) = minus £6.50
Total = £2
Total food = £1.50
Coop:
Organic eggs (reduced from £2.10 for 6) = 55p
Days total food = £2.05
*** the Colgate coupon didn't scan but was put through manually.
Short date on the eggs (12th Sept), so will be using some today.
Hubby will have a breakfast and finish off the mushrooms (which have kept really well) and the rest of the Heinz 5 beans he opened yesterday to try (he didn't really rate them). I'll just have toast.
Main meal for myself will be scrambled eggs with cheese and I'll take out a Cornish pasty for hubby to have with chips and mushy peas.
I'm short on bread and milk, so might pop out later.

Well done Lynsey and biscuitmad.
I have just filled a draw of my freezers back up already. 4x £6 each large chickens for just £10. :j
Today I have pulled out mince, I will make a chilli for tea. Now do I add a tin of the 5 beans as an experiment? Hmm, choices.
Lunch is home made cheese cob bread with ham and pickles.
5x jam douhnuts out as well.
No more food shopping today but I am shopping to see what I can get for 10p from superdrug.
I hope everyone has a lovely day.£36/£240
