    My roast potatoes were fantastic!

Forgot to mention the whoopsies. A loaf of bread for 45p (with and end date of september 9th, what on earth?) and 8 corns on the cob for 70. 4 in the fridge 4 in the freezer. I would have had a closer look at the reduced stuff but people were very pushy and I'd rather no bargains than the baby get elbowed in the head.

Speaking of the baby is in a foul hence why I'm still up. Given up now letting him rant himself to sleep.

Poor you Sequeena, hope you get some rest and the baba gets well soon :(

Had to go to the local shop for bread and milk but that was all. Just sticking to the meal plan.

OUT: Jerk chicken, rice, chicken noodle soup
    IN: loaf of bread (temporarily).

    Have a good day folks
  • We are on packed lunches today, im in the process of putting off making them!
Last night we used some seafood and salmon trimmings just stirred into some cream with pasta, scrummy! The rhubarb that i got out of the freezer at the same time and made jelly with was not quite so nice, horrible texture but tasted ok, we used up the last of the Value icecream and the last of the cream over it, which kind of masked it, only one person didn't eat it all so not too bad.
If the weather stays nice I plan on using up all the random frozen buns with some burgers on the bbq tonight.
Have a great day everyone x

    Morning
I hope Thomas is a little better when he wakes up Sequeena. Nothing worse than when children are bad. x
I have dish maids hands. I have been up for hours and bleached the house to within an inch of it's life. Now I can't get rid of the smell of bleach off my hands and they look like dry wrinkled cabbage.:rotfl:
Hand cream and a coffee in order as a reward.
Today we are having cereal for breakfast. Ribs and coleslaw for lunch and dinner will be salad for us girls and the boys will have home made pizza.
I need to sort the fridgeout and get some things used or frozen as well.
Nothing should go in as I am getting the kids sorted to go back tomorrow. They were not happy when I woke them up at 9am this morning. :D
It looks like another lovely day here, I will wash and wax the car today as well I think. I Can't ruin the kids street cred when I drop them of tomorrow can I.:p

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

Had some porridge for breakfast and stir fry sorted.
Washing day today, got all my Brother's stuff to do!!!!

I've been looking at food banks this morning and looking for a smaller one near to where I live. Part of me wants to drop off stuff at a family rather than a food bank though. Maybe a food bank is a better option??
I've seen a one in Whitley Bay (food bank) and I'll drop off some beans this week (on their shopping list) - hope everyone locally doesn't have the same idea. lol

Sugar - Farm Foods also do 2 x 1kg bags (Whitworth) for £1.50
Tesco have the Punjana tea-bags (80) for £1, ends today though!!
Wish I had seen this on Sunday, may pop out for 2 boxes??

Hoping to get rid of some fish-fingers tomorrow and maybe some haddock for hubby - that'll sort Wednesday out and going to try and book a Groupon for Thursday.

Spending the morning printing coupons - the free Coke one is 1 per email address.

    Hi everybody :T

Been DIYing.. NSD for me, just as well as deliveries all turned up today. I know I mentioned it before but I'm dead chuffed that I saved 14.99 buying the wall art thingy from Debenhams not Homebase - that's more than the monthly water bill I think. :D It looks gorgeous.

Mentioning gorgeous.. ice cream lovers of this thread unite and get thee to Budgens cos they have Green & Black's organic chocolate ice cream 500ml for £3 (was 4.19) which is not just gorgeous it's divine..

Ma-ri-ella try Poundland https://www.poundland.co.uk as they have loads of Weight Watchers stuff.

Ms_Night_Ryder - I want some chocolate Cheerios too <sniffle> actually my fave ones are the apple & cinnamon Cheerios.

Anyone here shop at H&M ? If so there's a 10% off and free delivery deal on the website https://www.hm.com

Ocado coming tonight.. I did an order to get light bulbs which are out of stock and ended up spending too much money even though 50% of what I bought is on offer. Innocent 900ml juices 3 for £5 for example and 25% off Daylesford stuff. Bad moi :o

Out: bread, some peanut butter, half a linnet of blueberries, ham, sausages, tin of beans, potatoes for mash and cheese.

Not bad at all. My oh just sold one of his phones for £110 so that's another bit of good news :)

I have to pop out now so will hit tesco, possibly morrisons as well to see what they have.

  • Evening all :)

NSD here food wise, but had to put £20 worth of petrol into my car for my last days of travelling to placement. Went to my friends house for most of the day and she cooked us a lovely three course lunch - so, so full now so won't be having tea! We had HM cauliflower & horseradish soup for starters, HM curry & a jacket potato for main and for dessert we had white chocolate & maple syrup pancakes with vanilla ice cream :D Thought I would need to roll home after ... also, she was very lovely and sent me home with a portion of soup for lunch one day this week.

OH is having the second-to-last pie out of the freezer with actifry chips and carrots for tea. Going to make him up a packed lunch soon as he has an important presentation/interview for an internal promotion tomorrow - think he will deserve a nice lunch :)

Hope you've all had a nice day, been very rainy here with only a little sun - wish it would make its mind up and be Summer or full on Winter, each day is different!
  • Hey guys.

Had another busy day, did manage to eat one of the homebake rolls, with some of the marinaded pork, the last of the brocolli and spinach with some light cream cheese, so yummy, i chucked it all o george foreman to warm up lol love it!
Went on the tour with god daughter and then took her to subway £8+ later and 2 6 inch subs and a lemnade, i was not too pleased with that, especially as the tickets cost me £35! ah well, that's her lot now.

Had a sandwich and a coke at my focus group, they fed me as well as paid me lol, so no dinner.

Tomorrow i am going to use the last roll and the pork, i have some cooked rice also to use up and some cucumber, will also make a fruit smoothie, i have clems, pairs, apple, melon and grapefruit, i have a brand new food processor and i can't for the life of me find where i put the juicer, i hope i havent thrown it away! i won't be pleased! semi busy in the afternoon tomorrow, so i will be eating at home, can't start on the freezer items as i have a ton of fresh food that needs using up, probably take out meat for thursday, i have a lunch time focus group then, so free lunch lol.
