I find i'm being more inventive too!

now the freezer is nearly empty, i'm going to work on the cupboards - i'm sure we've got jars in the there that have moved house twice with us!

I found some spaghetti which has moved house with Mr.Kitty twice... it ran out of date in 2009!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Spend almost £13 yesterday.
Had to get a few things like milk, olive spread, cheese etc. - all £1 and above items and they soon top-up.
A few special treats like a bar of chocalate and cream cake from Morries and a couple of tubs of Carte D'Or form Sainsburys (only 74p each using the Unilever £1 coupons).
Bought some reduced turkey mince form Sainsburys last night, never bough in ages and this makes lovely spag bol - slightly sweeter than beef mince.

Bacon sandwich today with Aldi bacon and pasta bake (again) later.
The end of the month is nigh (thank God) and only £20'ish left, but only a few days to go.

OH didnt eat dinner last night so will have the defrosted drumsticks today, Got 1 pack of bacon left which i might use for bacon and egg sarnies for breakfast. If not it can be saved for a carbonara in the week.

I want a desert for later, so need to seach for a recipe that will use up what we've got in the cupboards - got lots of chocolate so maybe brownies or something along those lines. I am aiming for a NSD. As we've not much cash left over till my payday on weds.

Shopping bill of this week is about £20, basically from topping up the freezer with meals for me & Mr.Kitty. Better than the usual £50 which we were spending at some points.

Last night I had Thai Salmon with egg fried rice and veg. :D

OH has decided he wants pie today - this pie has been waiting to be eaten for about 5 months, so will be cooking it tonight! Chicken should be okay for tomorrrow.

I attempted to make a cheese and red onion omlette for lunch, it was a disaster ended up as a scrambled egg mix thing, most of it went to the dog as I love the idea of omlette but they always leave a funny feeling at the back of my throat!

I am on day 6 now and still going strong.

The first thing I am likely to need later this week is some milk for my breakfast.

I may also buy bread but can always take pasta for lunches instead.

Will record my spend in my signature.

Caved and went to waitrose for a dessert.

Got 2 lemon tart slices and a tub of ice cream for £2.62 and 2 free alcoholic jellies! (they were reduced to 39p each and full price were on a 2 for £2 offer which discounted 78p off the price = free jellies!)

They had a tiramissu reduced to 79p too, and other bits, but we're down to our last £10 now before my payday so didn't want to puchase too much!

I know what you mean about omelette - If they go at all scrambled eggy then I have to lash them, hence I don't make them very often!! That said - I rather fancy a cheese and red onion omelette and as both kids are out at their Dad's I might just make one for my tea!! A friend brought me a tray of eggs last week from the farm so I have loads of eggs, plus loads of red and white onions and loads of cheese from the last Tesco BIG2F offer!

Because there are no kids here today I have had a bit of bacon on wholemeal bread for lunch, however the bacon, which was on offer in Sainsburys (Danepak) was soooooo salty that I couldn't eat it and ended up giving it to the puppies who are now drinking like mad things and so will probably be weeing all over the place later!!!

I am having a NSD today but am going to go to Aldi tomorrow for sweetner and salt, and a chicken, but hopefully I won't have to spend any more on groceries until the weekend.
