Just had breakfast lol, had the last of the watermelon and a muffin from the freezer, only 2 muffins left, may have a take away a little later, prob Caribbean, will fry off the meatballs and put them in the fridge and pop them in the sc tomorrow with a tomato sauce, get some potatoes today and some veg, going nail shop and lidls is across from it, so probably pop in there after.

Been really busy all week, first day this week I've been at home for such a Long period of time during the day lol, got the workmen painting the bathroom at the moment, they said they will be do.e in an hour, fingers crossed I can then go out, it is very gloomy outside and not a hint of Sun anywhere. But at least it is not raining.

    Afternoon all.

Haven't had any dinner as feeling a bit weird. Feel tired as well, could sleep for a week.

Going shopping with the folks at Asda so will check out the bakery stuff, thanks Lynsey. Need SR flour. Must write a list!

Really excited as I've just had an email from Disney telling me I've won a £100 voucher for the disney store! :j Hopefully they've got some nice marvel stuff in, or I can wait to spend it til I go to London, guess they've got one there.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Just had a nightmare of a shopping trip. Some of it went well, in that I got a shed load of whoopsies, like a rack of lamb, venison, beef joint, sausages, curries that were £3 for 50p. Got a lift home, it was then that I realised I'd left my handbag on the trolley!

Dashed back to the store to find it had been handed in. I nearly cried! Thank goodness there are still honest people about. The woman didn't give a name or number otherwise I'd have given a reward. Shame really. Hope she knows just how grateful I am. It had £30 plus all my cards etc. Would have been a waste of time getting those whoopsies if I'd lost it lol.

Spent £60 tho in Asda. Was a big shop with plenty of food, so that should keep me going for the next couple of months.

  • Oh no lipstick but isnt it great it got handed in!!! shows there are still decent people around, you must be so relieved!! Hope you feel better soon too !

Grabbed quick dinner all out of cupboards/freezer : fajitas, with salad and tortillas, plus chocolate buttons! so healthy! :rotfl:

Also took some milk, bread and 12 sausages out of freezer to use over the weekend! thinking I may try and make some cakes too!

i did have a takeaway but it was at about 4pm, so will have some fruit if hungry later.

i went to lidl and got some blueberries, a cucumber, avacado and a honey dew melon that cost me 2.99 then i went to tesco, 5 minutes away and got a pack of milkybar and a rolo bar, just had 2 squares of each, i also got some frozen sweetcorn and frozen famhouse veg and a pack of huge roosters on a £1 special spent 5.23 there.

not going to have a budget this month as i have a costco run soon and that will fill the freezer, so will be frugal only buying what i need.

had such a busy day today (must have burned a million cals) and tesco came up trumps when i needed it as we are too tired to cook - indian takeaway box reduced to just £1.61 yay!

had 14.24 worth of stuff from tesco for 34p as the lovely chap took loads of coupons - and that included 7 bottles of beer that I didn't need but good prices and nice so excellente!

kids got fed at school fete for free as I was helping so that meant they only ate donuts at home that I got reduced at tesco.

chicken breast defrosting in fridge though as we were going to make a curry tonight but got the reduced box instead. very smelling nice and very hungry!!
    3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Think I went a bit mad with the whoopsies as I can't fit anything else in the freezer, and I've 2 packs of mince in the fridge with the date for today, that needs putting in. Not only can I not fit anything else in, I can't really open the drawers as they're jammed. :o

Will use the last of the fish fingers for ds' dinner so that'll free up a really small bit of room lol. I'm going to have a low fat curry with rice and spicy potato (I think) that I also couldn't get in the freezer.

Think I'm going to take ds to Toys R Us today to spend his birthday money, or could do it later in the week since he'll be off school. May save some of the disney voucher I won for presents for Christmas. He's just had a birthday so he really doesn't need any more toys right now!

I know! About a year ago I found £10 in a self serve till at the same store. Some would have kept it, but I handed it in so perhaps it's karma lol.

Katskorner - that's some major couponing you did there! Well done!

    Morning.

Lip_Stick - well done with your wins and your luck in Asda and your bargains.

katskorner - well done with your bargains too, great when you get your shopping down to next to nothing - great buzz.

NSD yesterday, and "Veggie Day" completed - only 8 more to go!!

Dilemma day, do I get the burgers from Lidl or try Tesco "glitch". I've got to pick up a parcel from Tesco and will go there first and see if I can get some coupons - if no luck, then off to Lidl - need cheese anyway and some stuff for Brother.

Breakfast later will be bacon sandwich and took out Lidl pork loin with mustard and honey for later - make a dinner.
Only £10 to play with today, so need to be careful and no major bargain hunting unless it comes within budget - I'll have to keep checking spends today. lol

Have a great weekend and Bank Holiday - may the sun shine on you - doesn't look like it's shining on me!!!
