Morning.
Just had simple toast and coffee for breakfast ............ again!!
Chicken skewers for later and took out the trout fillets for hubby - they look lovely and reduced to 49p from £2.97. lol
I'll probably have a jacket potato with cheese.
Found the last prawn ring and taking up space, so I'm going to half it and bag the prawns. Put some Jubbly's in ice box, got them reduced ages ago. Still a bag of milk there and I'll use up next.
Never use the ice box as we have larder fridge in house and other fridge is in garage, but just thought about using the ice box for meal planning, just take out a few days food from freezer at a time which needs using - quite a size ice box and should have thought of it before. doh!!
That saves the temptation of getting that spare freezer from my Brother and we'll get rid of it. I would fill it in a week (only smallish and 3 drawers) with "whoopsies" .................. I'll stick to what I've got.
Not red hot today here, but better than forecast .......... thankfully.
Save Dosh - that bacon is cheap (Lidl), I've already got some bacon in the freezer, but still getting 6 packs on Saturday.

I had prawn curry and basmati rice for dinner.
Poor Mr F is still not back from London - do I do a freezer exploration or leave him to do it when he arrives home tired? Hmm - I will leave it to him.
He knows more about where stuff is in that freezer.

Never entered a shop, just gardening, relaxing and visiting MIL.
Hubby said trout was lovely.
Took out a pack of lamb cutlets for tomorrow (bought Oct 2011) and hubby's having them, I'm having some garlic prawns - salad with both. Took out a couple of sausages for sandwich tomorrow and short on them now, only a few left and on "hit list" for "whoopsies"
Lidl in the morning, probably later than usual as wanting to visit B&Q to check the plant offers. Pick up some more salad stuff from Aldi (last day of Super 6 before new lot on Sunday) and Asda hopefully for the Anchor cream. Check B&M's and possibly Home Bargains.
Maybe, just maybe a Morries bargain hunting trip tomorrow, see what price the bread and pies/pasties are (half price Wiltshire ham offer also). Need to visit Sainsbury's for the mags and Cravendale coupons. lol
Sounds like a busy day, but don't want to spend more than £15 tomorrow, then next 5 weeks at £25.

Today I have taken some mince and mushrooms out of the freezer for tomorrow, using up stuff doesn't always make space though does it. I had had some puy lentils kicking around for a while and so thought I would use them up, made a cottage type pie for last nights tea with them and had to find room in the freezer for two more!!!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Morning all.
Off to brid today for fish and chips and a paddle.
Will certainly be nice to get away for the day. Wasn't impressed with dad phoning me at half 8 this morning tho.
Went to Asda yesterday and spent over £50! Did buy ds some Hulk jamas, cake, and school tops, which come in at £20. Not long til his birthday now, can't wait!
Had a bbq at the folks last night which was my idea, great idea I think, free tea lol. Enjoyed that.
Right have to scoot, being picked up soon, hope all have a great day in the sunshine! There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
