I wish!!
See how the "professionals" do it on the coupons thread - combining coupons with WYS vouchers and getting shopping down from £40+ for next to nothing!!!
I miss that being a small spender, but do try and max when possible. lol
BTW...........pancakes were lovely, roll on next year.

^ What is a WYS voucher??
I have precisely one coupon in my purse, I'm a novice! I don't often find things I want though. The only one I have is the Simply washing tablets, the pure ones seem relatively eco for me but I wouldn't normally buy them - but might if I see them on offer as well as the coupon.0 -

When You Spend.
Say £5 off when you spend £40.
So put everything through, hand in your WYS £5 off and then the rest of the coupons and sometimes multi-buys kick in................when you have to pay, give them a fiver and wait for your change!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
It does really happen, not to myself though.......too small a shopper and a "scary cat".

Ah ok, thank you! They must have a lot of coupons though!
I only got a few bits the other week, gave over £3 LV's and a coupon and the cashier looked at me like dirt as I only had a couple of £ to pay, that was bad enough!
I think I would end up buying far more than I need though if I did that couponing thing all the time!0 -

Tell me about it!!!
As long as you have the space. lol
Seriously though, within 4 weeks I'll have most of household and toiletry stuff to last the best part of 2 years!!
Only need things like bin bags, freezer bags, a few deodorants (once they've gone) and hubby's shaving stuff, saved an absolute fortune for very little outlay.
The couponing thread is well worth a read, both coupons and chat - unbelievable what can be achieved!!
At first I thought it was all "exaggeration", but through 8 months or more experience I KNOW they are telling the truth.............well most of them. It's fun and money-saving...............nothing better.
Out helping a friend to decorate, catch up later - pop into Sainsbury's late and see if there's any "whoopsies" left. Just found 2 more Fairy coupons for Sainsburys, so get the last 2 later.
My days decision is I'm NOT going to buy full price meat or fish again this year and will ONLY buy reduced or "whoopsie" stuff or Lidl half-price weekend offers. Too much stuff in, so should be an easy task. I'm keeping my Sainsburys Nectar point for Xmas, so that's the Xmas dinner sorted, unless we do go abroad for Xmas.

cheerfulness4 - you need to "like" and everything is done through "Mission Control" - post and reply etc as above - good luck!!

I think I've finally got it! Thanks Lynsey. :T
I've not got my printer up and running. DH moved it on Sat and not set up again.
Will those stickers stay there for me to print out my coupons when I decide which store to use them in?AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Just saw this before I popped out and yes, I believe you can print them when you want.
Select the store which is best for yourself, Tesco have the best offers on, like some Fairy for £1, so free, 50ml Oral B for £1, so free, Flash for £1, so free, Lenor £1.68, so 68p. The Fairy Original is £1.25 in both stores, so I get the Original in Sainsbury's
Ask 5 questions/tip in each category for coupons - good luck.
Sadly, you may have just missed out as it seems like they have stopped you printing 2 coupons each time............only 1 now!!
You should easily get 30+ coupons though, some of the Boots ones and the Duracell ones I'll not use.

my fridge is fit to burst lol, it feels odd cause i'm used to having a full freezer and little in the fridge and right now i have both :rotfl::rotfl: plenty of yummy slimming world stuff (i'm fancying crisps and i nearly eat one of ds3's sweets without thinking lol), kids are havings pancakes for tea with strawberrys, me and hubby are having baked taties, filled with cheese and salad, followed by fruit covered in yogurt . think i'll need lots of red days to run my freezer down, since the bigger boys get school dinners and they all eat small amounts it's not running my freezer down very quickly, since we started our diet all we've used is a pizza, 9 fishfingers and 3 chicken breasts lolDEC GC £463.67/£450
