National Holidays are supposed to be doing a 3 nights hotel/2 days there for £250 with kids free. Think that ends in March. It's supposed to be in their brochure. I can't see it on the website.

i acually priced it a few days ago, but we're in n.i so would need flights and theres 5 of us, the kids would still need flights it was looking about £2k before food, so i spoke to oh and we deiced we'd be better paying extra going 3times as long and getting a dining deal and going to florida, it means we'll have a longer wait to go tho, hopefully next easter or the easter after as we could never afford the mid- summer prices and don't like the idea of taking the kids out of school for a holiday, maybe the last day of term or 2 but not 2 weeks lol

    Great price...........cheaper than I remember!!
I normally split 2 packs into 3 (8 meatballs in each) and that does a pasta bake for two of us. I cut the meatballs in half also just before cooking. So basically 4 meatballs per person - 1 pack should do 3 pasta bakes for yourself.
They don't come up very often and 74p is a steal........depends how many pasta bakes or other recipes you will use.
I want six months supply..............and I want them now (stamps feet). :D

Today for breakfast I decided to use up 2 eggs that needed to be eaten by tomorrow (or so I thought :o). I ate them and checked todays date.....the eggs should have been used 2 days ago. They didn't float when I put them in the pot and they tasted fine, so I'm sure I won't die :rotfl::rotfl:

Lunch was the remainder of a box of Special K, loads of crumbly bits...but still fine ;)
  • Well - am ashamed. Instead of kitchen freezer going down, overflow freeze going up. finished hm multigrain bread - brekkie, the lunch was sandwich with reduced ham & some of newly bought buttalump bread. 3 x half loaves in overflow, plus 1 x beef cass and 1 x "gravy" from same for use as stock, also moved bag of chips from kitchen to overflow. Took out 1 small portion which turned out to be chilli, added to tonights cass, 1 bag of pineapple or swede/celariac chunks to go with removed mac cheese for tomorrow. Will have half sugar snap + half the pink firs tonight with cass, other s snap tomorrow. Am on overnight grannie duty tomorrow and then out for lunch with family so will not eat at home after tea time until following tea time. Seem to be running backwards and still have 2 peppers, 2 pointy peppers, pointy cabbage, 1 carrot from veg box shop, few toms, few sp onions + loads of cooking onions in the fresh veg line plus pots. Crikey !!
  • Oh got days confused, am home alone tomorrow night and then out Sat and Sunday. Got mels sorted just not days.
  • Just had beef cass. Pink Fir pots were lovely, cass had a zing with added chilli portion. The lump has turned out to be pineapple so it is mixed with the reduced portion I bought Tuesday and will have to search for recipe (have found some suet in cupboard so maybe). Feeling less depressed now and quite warm.

Wow that does work out pricey. Don't blame you for saving up for Florida instead. I won an ipad and another tablet, so sold the ipad to part fund this trip lol.

Hoping to take ds to florida in a few years to come. I'd like to see a bit more of America while over there. If I start saving now, we'll probably get to go by the time ds is about 20! lol
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.
