Back from Morries and some results, but not like last week.
Got pack of 4 Cornish pasties for 39p, pack of 2 handmade pasties for 39p and a pack of 2 steak pies, also 39p.
3 lots of bread, 1 organic loaf for 15p, 1 farmhouse loaf for 9p and a speciality bread for 5p (pain de campagne??).
Special treat, 2 fresh cream muffins on at half-price for 82p.
Got pies and pasties to last a good few weeks and bread of all sorts for a while. Birds will be happy also.
Total spend = £2.28 and £3.51 in Lidl earlier, so £5.79 today.
So week 3 and spend so far = £32.80 - well under target and still well pleased. Spends will gradually increase now as Xmas goodies are rapidly diminishing.
Kirri, first time I've ever used Pro Activ milk for cooking and never again for Yorkshires, tin was hot enough.........tried it twice!!Flora pro.activ milk is fresh cow's milk – a great source of calcium. It’s enriched with plant sterols to actively lower cholesterol.
Glad your headaches gone Lip_Stick - celebrate with a nice glass of wine.

Oh I am Lynsey.. well, a voddy and cloudy lemonade.
Sounds like you got some good deals there. I love Morries bakery stuff but sadly they're one of the furthest supermarkets from me (excluding Sainsbury's which isn't even in my city).
I've got £19 to last me til a week on Wednesday, which includes buying electric, money for my nephews birthday and ciggy money. Best not buy any food whatsoever next week then! There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Toast for breakfast with coffee.
Away most of day, might make another beef dinner tonight to finish off beef - without Yorkshires!!
Just threw out yesterdays disaster Yorkshires to birds, but they've not eaten them yet...............maybe they are not hungry this morning??Probaby have to pick them off the lawn later. lol
Got 3 litres of Pro Activ milk to get rid of and then back to proper stuff.
Need to clear feeezer space this week as I'm sure Lidl will have both meatballs and chicken breasts on half-price soon and I would love a dozen packs of each. Got a few ready meals to get rid of and a sausage casserole is on the cards, may try them OOD beans??
Got a Chinese Groupon meal on Wednesday and target for week is 2 NSD's at least. Spend target for week (Sun - Sat) is £25.

lol Lynsey, you're supposed to be using stuff up, not buying huge quantities of it!
Ds and I had boiled egg for brekkie. It's his favourite.
Today I'm off to Mam's for Sunday dinner. Feel blinking shattered though. Ds is with his dad today so is probably being fed crap. I might come home a couple of hrs before ds is due back so I can have a nap lol.
Tea for me will probably be something like sardines on toast. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

Well, I too am making inroads into freezer & cupboards. Thanks Kirri for how to cook pink firs, I would have had to come on here to ask tomorrow when I plan to cook half of them. Have 2nd portion of fresh stir fry veg (plus some of redued price veg) in 2nd half of the mix I had in cupboard for ages, thats today, then sandwich with ham from freezer and portion of coconut rice pud from freezer made with condensed milk & evap milk and frozen in portions. Tomorrow pork steak is out ready for evening with pink firs and frozen veg, couple of slices of tea bread from freezer (hm), plan for Tues turkey dice (freezer) in a stir fry mix with sp onions, left over red pepper, mush and chopped up carrot - well thats the plan. Out for lunch Wed but may have fish fingers/chips/peas later in eve - all freezer. Steak from freezer Thurs with oven roast veg (pkt mix - have 3 different and never tried any). Think thats not bad but have put 8 slices hm bread in freezer today. Really want to do mince in slo cooker but always make several extra so am resisting, ditto hm veg soup with freezer veg + left overs, still not enough room. Want to go Lidl for more bread mix - if they have any left - as it was 69p and they do not do vouchers, so when I went Mr T he only had cheese & tom so got that with 30p off, not ideal for a jam sandwich tho. Have been getting down my salad cream stock after ideas from on here thanks and got rid of stuff on freegle so feeling bit smug although a housefull to get rid of plus loads of late Mum's stuff too (wearing pair of her slippers as I type). Thanks to all for help and get that slo cooker out aain Lyndsey.0

whmf00001 - the slow cooker is getting used again tomorrow, took out some sausages and I've got some of the beans soaking now, probably a tomato based sausage casserole.
NSD to start the week, so good start. Found a bottle of olive oil in back of cupboard to keep me going (only 500ml), but still like to have a few bottles in.
Thinking of making scones this week, got an old packet of raisins need using up. Never made soup since Xmas, that could be an option?? Never made bread in ages either, too much cheap bread about at the moment.
