I have meal planned totally from the freezer today for the whole week, which i feel proud about. I am even baking bread todayI'm going to try and keep next week's spend at about £30 if i can manage it. Will take my time shopping around for the best deals and get shopping on the weekend.
Today we've got spag bol & cheddar and tomato flatbread for dinner
Lunch i will just have toast, or soup, or something else out of the cupboard.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

My freezer is about three quarters full at the moment, but it includes all my Christmas meat so not too bad.
Breakfast today was beans (l/o from weekend) on wholemeal toast, lunch is sandwiches for kids and l/o pork with salad for me, dinner tonight is a bit of a mish mash - chicken curry (using l/o chicken) for DD1 and DD2 with me having fish in butter sauce (been in the freezer yonks but still in date) with mash and peas.
My breadmaker is due to arrive today - I can't wait!! I got a great deal on a panasonic - newest model for £130 from Very, with a 10% off code and £25 cashback (offer from panasonic - need to send in receipt). I don't have any bread flour in the cupboard, or any yeast so will get some later if I go to the shops.Jane

Went to lidl and spent £8ish - baked beans were on offer with 2 free tins (heinz ones) so picked up some for the store cupboard as we're down to 4 tins. Got some chicken breast too as the price was good.
Went to sainsbobs and got snacky bits. Also found birds eye hot and spicy chicken 4 packs were on sale for 75p down from £2.99 so picked up 2 packs of them, they're handy to have around when neither of us feel like cooking or need a quick tea.
The rest of the week should be NSD for me. Will see how we get on!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

I blame DH, his cousin works in a halal butchery and fish place and gave him loads of stuff for like £50, won't need fish or chicken or meat again until feb I should think!

Well I've completely fallen off the wagon - I *said* I was going to do a meal plan and I didn't
so I'm completely lost as to what I'm doing.
We had corned beef hash yesterday and I pre-cooked the potatoes in the morning before I left for work rather than have extra cooked over the weekend to use up
We're all at the dentist tonight and racking my brains for what to have - there's loads in the freezer but I haven't planned  furious with myself!!
Only me and DS1 tomorrow, then all 3 of us on Thursday and then we're away for the weekend on Friday and Saturday night - really need to get my @r$e into gear :eek:Anywhere is within walking distance - if you have the time!!0
