I had earmarked the Bed Brunette pack for a gift it was under the £30 as I was looking at make up brushes or something to bring it up to £30. I have just logged on to do the order because now my voucher should of been "activated" but not only do I see the sign on the front of the site, feels so unprofessional having to order by email?! But the bed head set I wanted to buy as a gift is now £34.95!
Won't be using these guys again! I just had a look on amazon and their prices are better! I wonder if they have seen what people are ordering most of with these vouchers and putting up the prices of those products.Save 8k in 2013: Member #100

I agree, it expires in September, a lot could change in the next few weeks.
I would of liked to of sat it out to but the birthday I am buying for is in a couple of weeks
Surely they should of realised that people would of window shopped on their site before buying a voucher and would see the very steep price hikes?! Daft really as they now would of thrown away a lot of repeat business.Save 8k in 2013: Member #100

The item I originally tried to order has gone up from £14.99 ro £25.99. I have tried to order it by email, but no response at all (no acknowledgement) so may go back to KGBfor my money back - has anyone been successful at this ? when I first complained to KGB they said it was because I had to wait 48 hours to use the voucher (even though I clearly stated my complaint was because there was nowhere to put the code in) - i.e. they seemed reluctant to give me my money back ?0

I have asked for my cash back from KGB (which i have know got)and put a complaint in to the ASA.
On June 20th KGB Deals offered a "Beauty Stop" £30 Voucher for the bargain price of £10.00 (and attached)
http://www.kgbdeals.co.uk/national/deals/24197/30-voucher---beauty-stop---national?utm_source=ym&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=purchaseconf&utm_term=null&utm_content=national
After the deal was completed Beauty Stop whacked up there prices. Yet KGB had stated for example
decisions, decision...
Beauty Stop is crammed with products for you to purchase with your kgbdeals £30 voucher - here are just a few...
-Bed Head Blonde Bombshell 3 Piece Hair Set - £23.90
If you click through that exact KGB link to the product you will see the KGB advertised price has increased to £34.95

In fact Beauty Stop prices are so astronomical and increased the
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Intensive Moist Body 30ml is £12.95
yet on other websites it is only £2.95

Take into account the postage and it is still a whopping £10 cheaper.0 -
Hi guys
I'm quite surprised by the reactions above!
I emailed them on 22 June for 1 benefit item and a Helen E sharpener, where I had to pay above £2 extra even with the voucher, and they emailed me on 24th to tell me to paypal them the extra payment. I did that on the same day and they told me the product will be dispatched by 1st class either Monday or Tuesday of this week. I haven't received the product yet but may receive it today or tomorrow.
I note someone wrote they paid the paypal fee - I didn't pay this and left it up to them to pay it!
The price for my benefit or Helen E products didn't go up, and the person I was emailing with (the owner I presume) seems nice and professional....to be honest yes they did put prices up which isn't that great, but they don't seem to be that big a company....not a good excuse but hey....they are selling some stuff cheaper!0 -

Mine was slightly over £30 so I expected to hear from them but haven't. This thread getting bumped has prompted me to email them again.0 -

Yes, it is probably worth me adding that initially (when paypal took the full amount) I spoke to Nicky and she was very helpful and refunded it straight away and said she would look into the other problems with the website. It is since then that I have ordered via email and heard nothing, and also the price hikes - a jump of over a tenner on the one product I had ordered. I suspect that beauty stop has made an error in judgement with the KGB thing, and also with altering the prices during the period it was not possible to place orders. They will probably be seriously regretting the whole thing, both in dealing with the complaints and honouring orders. Although I do want my tenner back, as I am not compassionate enough to sponsor someone else's misjudgement, I won't be taking it any further - it is clearly a small company that has not thought something through properly. I had this delivered today http://www.beautystop.co.uk/Product/C-BENSMOKIN/Benefit-Smokin-Eyes-Kit and I'm very pleased with my purchase - price is still the same now as it was before I bought the KGB voucher. Bargain for £10! Seems like it is only certain items that have gone up.0
