£30 to spend on beauty for £10

When I first saw this I wondered how they would go about honouring the sales as there is no way that they would be able to get the products to sell that cheaply. I'm guessing this will send this company bust as there is no way a small company like this would be able to cope with the amount of loss.
thats very stupid thing from them if they thought that they can easily sell the vouchers and raise the prices after that, buyer are not stupid0 -
Yes, very stupid...and greedy too. I presume they are able to restrict the number of vouchers sold on KGB. If I were running a business, I'd WANT to restrict this. Gosh! I guess you come across all sorts of people.0
-
I would imagine they would have done it to get people to spend more than the amount on the voucher.
The other day I got a takeaway chicken meal off groupon and when I went to get it the owner told me that this is going to put him out of business because people have been buying loads of vouchers and coming from miles away to collect them with no intention of ever going there again. I actually felt really sorry for him.0 -
I contacted beauty stop today and they said an e-mail will be going out later for those who's orders came to over £30 as it will have a link to Paypal for the extra amount
The lady was giving me some drivel about perfume prices going up etc but I didn't believe a word of it to be honest and you CAN CAP these deals as a retailer as in there is a minimum number for the deal to go through and you CAN state a max number for the deal to end at...
So why not just end it sooner or tell the deals agent the number you want to 'cap' the deal at???
These deals aren't meant to make anyone go bust - The opposite in fact its to bring in new trade / customers ... Thing is savvy shoppers always 'buy the deal , then run' as in do we REALLY return and become regular customers - Sadly of course the majority DON'T so if they are being promised new regular customers then that is just not so
Thing is if I got incredible service and the prices were good anyway I WOULD RETURN but with this appalling behaviour by them of course I WON'T BE BACK!!!
Be FAIR to the customers now - That is all we ask!! ... And keep your original promises!0 -
I am SO peeved!!!!! :mad::mad::mad:
Just found out you can get Chloe 90ML on Amazon for the SAME PRICE beauty stop are charging FOR 30ML!!!!!
AND the 30ml is under a tenner delivered on Amazon , so this deal has hardly saved me ANY money at all!!!
Its not all its cracked up to be THATS FOR SURE.....0 -
Have worked out this deal has saved me a MASSIVE ..... wait for it ... drum roll ... 5 POUNDS!
So its NOT as good a deal as it seems as really it supposed to be saving us a massive £20!!!!!
They should have said ''£15 POUNDS OF BEAUTY DEALS FOR £10'' .... NOT SO TEMPTING THEN EH???????0 -
I've yet to use mine...don't think I want to after hearing the stories on here.I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!0

You might as well use it as you have bought it now ... probably best to use it on make up products or some items which didn't raise in price
Most of the perfumes went up by at least £5 but I noticed the Agent Provocateur perfumes didn't go up and was tempted to buy one of those as its lovely stuff! ... Will cost a couple of quid extra though and of course you can find it cheaper elsewhere like most of their products on there!
My stuff arrived today so they are pretty good with postage times at least although I WASN'T impressed that you have to pay the Paypal charge on top of your order as well!!
ie any cost over £30 plus their Paypal fee!!
Anyway , not using them again for sure and was hardly a major saving unfortunately , so offer was pretty deceptive as in you think you are going to get ''£30 worth of beauty items for £10'' but with the cost of their items its actually about 15 quids worth!
Thank goodness P&P is free! lol0 -

I won't be in a hurry to use it though, and since it expires in Sept....just gonna sit it out.

I agree, it expires in September, a lot could change in the next few weeks.0
