Dilemma :)

Apologies for what may be a long post! I have been friends with a guy on FB for a couple of years now. We get on really well and he mails everyday to see how I am. Both of us are single. I have met him a couple of times and had a drink with him, and sometimes with his mates aswell, and nothing has happened. Anyway recently my cat had kittens and he decided to take one. He came to see the kitten a couple of weeks ago, and bought with him a scented candle, three bottles of wine and six wine glasses (I don't get the wine glass thing lol). Sat for a while, had a coffee and left. He picked up the kitten last week, and I got a card in the post a couple of days later saying thanks for the kitten luv *****. Then followed a text asking me up for a couple of drinks, and to see how the kitten is settling in.

Anyway, went up on Friday for a couple of drinks, had a lovely evening, it totally flew by and I left about 4am, nothing happened, we sat and chatted and listened to music, he gave me a huge hug and a kiss and I left. Now he has gone quiet :(. I have spent the last two days analysing every word that was said and am driving myself mad with it! I really, really like this guy and really, don't know what to do next, if anything??

Any advice :D

If you want him. Move quick.

Give him a ring/text ask him how he and the kitten are doing. And perhaps invite him down for a meal/drink. See his response, and by that you will know what to do/say next. :)

Text him right now and ask him is he busy today, and if not does he want to go out to play (sort of say it cheekily).

    Good luck x

He asked you out, and now it's your turn to ask him out!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

He probably thinks of you as a really good friend, and doesn't have a clue you like him.

I'd definitely text him in about a week, or so, to see how the kitten is settling in. Why not invite him round for a coffee, and perhaps give a subtle hint in your text. Oh, and make sure you look drop dead gorgeous in a no effort way, when he comes round. ;):D

His wife's found out by hacking into his f/bk account, so he's lying low for the time being....

  • Ooooo...love it.

Similar situation in my life a few years ago. Young man and I !!!!!footing around each other as friends. Happy to report he is now my husband and we are (+1 and) very happy indeed.

What do you have to lose? A facebook friend with a little awkwardness. What do you have to gain? Abso-bloody-lutely everything.

    Go for it x
  • Sorry...didn't realize that 'insert name of a small cat' footing would count a rude word!
