Please be careful with yellow ood sels.
Just because it has gone past the date does not mean you are guranteed to be overcharged. I have found that Tesco often extend these reductions, and they chop and change their offers so much that new offers could be same/better than one just gone.
Recently had experience where one ood sel did result in an overcharge, and one didn't !

Tesco Finest British Beef Sirloin Steaks(2 in a pack) -

Yelllow/black SEL Offer £13.49kg(was £16.49), but only fullprice stock on shelves last night. Pack prices are around £8-£9, by catchweight[approx.500-600 gms], so DTD of around £3-4 per pack.

No you bought it today, even if you bought it tomorrow it wouldn't make any difference, if you had purchased it on the 4th or later then maybe depending on the circumstances, but as it stands you have no grievance or grounds for complaint.

These are actually 3 for £2, so if you only bought 2, the discount won't have kicked in and you don't have a case. If the SEL said 2 for £2 then fine, but I saw an SEL today and it was definitely 3 for £2.

    Edindevon

    Its defininatly 3 for £2.00

    Tesco, Littledown, Bournemouth:

Went in to see how much the TMX Tickle Me Elmo 10 Year Anniversary edition toy was for my daughter and noticed it said £26.22 on a Yellow SEL but the expiry for the offer was 27/11! Went through the till at £34.97, straight over to CS and got back £17.50! Absolute bargain as the cheapest I have seen Elmo is about £30.00.

And the best thing was the SA didn't take down the label and it is still there now! So if you need an Elmo, pop to Tesco Littledown, Bournemouth!

It also applied to the Cookie Monster but can't remember how much he was.
