KENWOOD BAGLESS CYLINDER VACUUM CLEANER - FREEBIE VIA DTD

Ahead of me in CS today, the ubiquitous 'little old lady' had this new Hoover FREE:

Kenwood Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner,
Large yellow/black card shows £45.00 - was £90, now Half Price.
Went back for Barcode from boxes - not on shelves, all on an end-of-aisle stack:
5011423-107158.
Happy Hoovering(and Wombles were Golden Double:-)

When I went back all the playstation 3 display cases had been removed, but I couldn't see them anywhere, leaving the playstation 2 display empty. I just presumed one of you lot had bigger balls than me, lol

This is how fellow MSErs refer to the previous Tesco overcharge policy where Tesco would give you a full refund and let you keep the item if they overcharged you. Ah, they were the good old days, eh?

I bought a mobile phone from tesco last week with the £25 off when you spend £25 or more in store, they lady on the till didnt take it off, and cs refused to give me dtd back, gave me £25 in cash rather than on my card, so took the receipt back (they had not written on it)yesterday n got another £25 back on my card - a bit sneaky of me really but they she ould have give me dtd in the 1st place!!
This happens a lot at xmas with the offers the till staff have to take off at the checkout - try n find someone who's only just started!!

I did that the other week and the cs tried to refuse me too saying that it was ridiculous and that I would get the phone for free then and only give me my money back. I pointed to the sign right behind her fat bum and said can you read that to me please. She went bright red and said she would have to call a manager and I said go right ahead because I would like to speak to him too so that he knows to educate his staff about dtd. She asked me for my card and threw it back at me with the receipt funny thing no manager needed all of a sudden. You should have insisted not just had to go back. Taffy
