I'm really pleased I went shopping tonight as Tesco made two mistakes and paid me double the difference back. As both items were bogof it meant all items were free! £17-32 in total - yipeee!
4 x Littlest pet shop nooks £3-97 bogof
2 xTesco own vitamin c chewy tablets 78p each bogof
As always checked my receipt oand noticed that neither the of them were discounted. Went to customer services and they checked both items - apparently the toys offer finished on the 26/11 but had old sign showing and the vitamins were a computer error.LMB 01/03/08£9001.61 £10/6 6089.70 - 32%paid off!
Grocery Challenge 25/6 to 24/7 €350 week1 €30-46 / €87-50

I bought a magnetix (35 pieces) today. This is a kids toy, age 6+, makes a good present - shelf price £5.22 but charged £6.97
Wish I'd bought a few more!0 -
Single cinnamon whirls or swirl things whatever they are called are advertised at 59p but when put through the self scan machine only 21p!!!0

I visited our local Tesco last night when we got home I checked my reciept.
We had bought Tetley T bags 240's which were on an end aisle labeled 2 for £5 and were charged £3.00 each, also got some Cadbury's Rich Tea and Cadbury's Digestive which we had been charged £1.25 per packet and on the shelf edge label said 2 for £2
Not been back yet as I have been at work all day today but will take a trip there tomorrow and hopefully they will be still there on display.
Do you think I could querey it if they have been rectified or will I be too late?0 -

These are actually 3 for £2, so if you only bought 2, the discount won't have kicked in and you don't have a case. If the SEL said 2 for £2 then fine, but I saw an SEL today and it was definitely 3 for £2.

It's always worth checking lots of yellow badged products for the expiry date in ever so small font at the bottom of the sign.
For instance 27 November was a date when load of offers finished.
Not been into Mr T's myself but I suspect that the recent rash of mis-prices and worthwhile DTD is because of staff missing the signs.
Just a top-tip from His Dudness.

In store today, they have 2 pack mango Buy 2 for £3.00, saving 78p, but packs are marked from £1.89 to £1.49, saving 40p, therefore 2p cheaper than offer. Went through checkout at £1.49 each pack, so why have the offer when it is cheaper anyway?0

Actually the previous post reminded me I came across the same situation a couple of days ago.
I went to buy some Tesco Diet Kick (energy drink 1 litre bottle) as I always do, glanced at the SEL and saw that they were 2 for £1.50 (thinking that was a pity cause that is a pretty much permanent offer... was hoping for BOGOF). Bent down to grab a couple and suddenly noticed that the price on the SEL for one bottle was 45p !!!
Me and the other half cleared the shelf at that price and crossed our fingers for a misprice!
We figured they could either:
1) Go through at the usual price (about 90p?) and the 2 for £1.50 kick in... which would have made them 15p per bottle after DTD
2) Go through at 45p each then ADD money onto our bill to make them 2 for £1.50 also making them 15p per bottle after DTD
3) Go through at 45p which is a super bargain anyway!
Unfortunately for us it was option 3, lol, but still a great bargain!
I'm off to stock up on more at that price in case it is very short term cause I drink far too much of the stuff!
HTH :TIf a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
